"A Skirmish in Abyss" Strategy And Tips
Pick Up A Key Here
There is a key you can get here for taking out an enemy, but note: it cannot be used on the locked doors on this level. Put it on a mounted unit and save it for a later level!
Fight Through the Narrow Corridor
The route you will take in this map is linear, as most gates will be locked, leaving you unable to pass through them. Head down the southern route after fending off Balthus, and proceed around the map towards the north to clear the Commanders.
Move Your Units
The narrow corridors of this map require you to carefully place your units so that you won't block your members' line of attack or movement. You may want to choose to be stationary at times, as most enemies will be charging towards you when you are close in range.
Take Hapi Out Fast
Between the first choke point in this maze like map, a Giant Crawler beast will be called by Hapi to block your route. Although not overly powerful, make use of your Gambit to break its armors to engage. Hapi will retreat shortly after defeating the Giant Crawler. At this point, take her out with a ranged unit like Ashe as you make your way around.
