What are Seals?
Required to Take the Certification Exam
Seals are passes that you need to obtain to be able to take the Certification Exam. Even if your characters meet the required level, they won't be able to take the exam without them.

Every time a character takes a Certification Exam, they will need to hand over a Seal. Regardless if they pass or win, the seal will be taken from their inventory.
Each Certification Exam Level Needs a Different Seal
You won't be able to use Seals to take exams outside of their level. Each Certification level will require a different seal to use.
Special Classes Need Specific Passes
Some classes, such as the Dark Mage, foregos the available seals and requires a specific one specially for unlocking it.

How to Obtain Seals
Buy Basic Seals from Item Shop
Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Seals can easily be bought from the Item Shop in the Marketplace. Although, it will only sell a limited amount and only ones you can use.
Can Also Be Bought in Marketplace Option in Calendar
During Sundays as you decide what to do for the day, you can buy seals and other items from the marketplace without leaving the room. This is especially helpful when you're doing Certifications.

Get Dark Seal from Death Knight
The Dark Seal is a Special Seal that can only be obtained as drop by defeating the Death Knight. When you see him with a pass icon, immediately take him out to get it.

During Battle, it's possible for you to loot or steal Seals from enemies. This isn't really a good option to have a constant number of seals so don't rely on it too much.
