Instructing Manually Raises Specific Stats

Target Skills For Class Change

Students' Motivation Check

Each character's skill can be manually raised. Every week, the player can instruct students to help raise their stats for increased effectiveness in battle and for class changes. Each student has their own strengths and weaknesses, and goals. It is recommended to base the growth of each character on these factors. Manual Instruction also raises Support.

Instructing Consumes An Activity Point

Tutor Individual Students

Instructing an individual student consumes an activity point and these points automatically reset every week. As there is a limit, it is recommended to use it on characters that you usually use in battles, or those that you want to change class.

Motivation Is Important!

Motivation Determines Students

Each student can have a maximum 100 motivation. Each instruction consumes 25 motivation. With zero motivation, the student cannot be instructed for that week but will still gain experience from self-study. Always check the motivation of your students before each week to maximize the lessons.

Should You Use Auto-Instruct?

Auto-Instruct automatically raises a unit's skills in line with their respective goals and is limited by the number of activity points. As this is done automatically, there is a tendency for the points to be allocated to your reserve characters rather than your main lineup. Recommended to use if most of your characters are out of motivation.

Budding Talents

Set Goals For Each Character

Set Goals for Each Character

In your Lesson Plan, you can also set goals for each of your students. This will then get your student to self-study to hone their assigned skills with results showing up the next weekend. You can manually specify goals you want your characters to concentrate on. Setting skill goals can be done via the menu or during exploration.

Students Can Suggest Goals

Student Suggest Goals

As skills are developed during a student's self-study, they will propose new goals to follow. This happens whenever skills that are not set as goals continue to grow. You can turn them down or agree with their proposed changes. Agreeing or disagreeing with them has no effect on support levels.

Raise Stats Via Seminars

Bring in Other Professors

You can also get Professors to help out in teaching your students. Professors provide more skill experience points to students when it comes to their expertise. The skills that will be affected are dependent on the instructor's and the student's stats. The higher the difference between the student and the instructor's skill level, the greater the effects. Characters with the same skill goals as the one to be taught in the seminar, and those with high motivation will participate.

Main Character Can Teach In Seminars

You can also assign your character to teach your students in their expertise. Just make sure your skill levels are up to far to make the most of it.
