Stat Growth Is Random When Leveling Up
When a unit levels up in the battlefield, the type and number of stats that will grow is random. If you want to change the growth of your character, you can restart the game and reload your save before the start of the fight.

A unit's Class also plays a part on that character's stat growth rate. For example, Classes that focus on magic will increase magic status while those that focus on sword wielding can increase strength or dexterity.
