Cross Between AR & SMG
The AUG can use 5.56 ammunition that is mostly used for Assault Rifles. With this ammo change, you can hit farther targets and deal better damage.
Still Highly Mobile
Even with damaging AR ammunition, the AUG still has far better Mobility than its lenghtier siblings. Be sure to take advantage of the added range and speed!

5.56 NATO SMG

Better Range & Damage
The 5.56 Magazine bumps the AUG's damage at the cost of Fire Rate. With this attachment, you can lie in wait and ambush enemies from afar!
Still A CQC Weapon
Even with the 5.56 Magazine equipped, the AUG can still handle itself pretty well in CQC. With the 5mW Laser and Operator Foregrips, you can still reliably damage nearby targets even when hip-firing!

Pepper Enemies With 5.56 Rounds
The AUG can be outfitted with a hefty 60-round 5.56 Drum Magazine. This attachment can make this light weapon into a mini LMG, capable of sustained sprays and supporting fire.
Very Mobile Build
With Perks such as Double Time, you can still dash through cover while pelting enemies. Note that this build works well in mid-range, so keep distance and fire away!

More Ammo = Better!
The 60-Round Magazine might be heavy, but it's a welcome upgrade from the standard measly 25-round 9mm AUG. It makes the modest SMG into an unstoppable weapon that can fire longer and can hit harder!
Still An SMG
Despite the ammo conversion and the increased magazine capacity, the AUG is still an SMG that can easily be carried across the battlefield. Note that it's still far ligher than an LMG, so use it to your advantage!

Weapon Traits
Well-Rounded SMG
The AUG is a pretty decent SMG that has slightly better base stats when compared to the MP5. It has great mobility, damage, and accuracy, making it a viable weapon even in mid-range.
No Barrel Attachments
You cannot use any Barrel Attachments on the AUG. This completely removes any chance of increasing its range or damage.

Bunkers Hiding Loot
Bunkers around Verdansk can be still found and entered. What secrets do they contain inside? Better weapons? Or death traps to those that try to open them?

To crack in a bunker, you'll need a Red Keycard mostly found in Legendary Crates. You can also loot them from dead players that have them, making it a interesting turn of events if you do find one.
