Error For Incomplete Map Data Download
DEV Error 6036 in a reoccurring error which are shown when an appropriate Multiplayer map data has not been downloaded correctly. You should be able to fix this error by completing your update to the latest build or verifying installation.
Double Check If Your Update Has Been Completed
This error may occur when your game data is currently incomplete compared to the live build. If you are experiencing this issue, consider checking your Battle.Net launcher client for any possible download first before attempting the fix below.
How To Fix DEV Error 6036
Use Launcher's Scan & Repair Function
If this error persists even after completing your update, you may try verifying the data and attempt an automatic fix from your Battle.Net Launcher. Click on the Call of Duty: MW in your Battle.Net Launcher, then 'Scan and Repair' from the Options menu to commence the fix.
Disable Cache Spot & Cache Sun Shadow
This error may also be possibly bypassed by disabling certain visual option from your in-game settings. Open the in-game Options and open Graphic menu. Find and disable the Cache Spot and Cache Sun Shadows menu and try rebooting the client.
