One infected player is hunting down any survivor they see! Getting killed by an infected will turn you into an infected yourself! The Survivor team wins if at least one survivor remains when the timer expires. Infected team wins when all enemies have been turned!
Infected Player Randomly Selected
During the start of the match, all players will be on the Survivors team. After a set amount of time has passed, a player will be randomly selected to become the infected.
Spawn In With a Set Loadout
All Survivors will be spawning with the same loadout to keep the playing field level. All Infected that spawn in the game will also have a uniform loadout.
Match Time Varies
Originally, the match lasts for 2:30. However, if an Infected player kills a Survivor, more time will be added to the clock!
Survivor & Infected Loadouts

This loadout allows you to deal high damage in close range. However, it is also risky as you would need to get close to your enemies to quickly take them down.

As an infected, you will only have a knife as a weapon. Despite this your mobility is increased, allowing you to easily chase down enemies!

Survivor Tips
Keep A Safe Distance From Infected
It is recommended to keep a safe distance from Infected. Despite the shotgun losing it's effectiveness, it will be much harder for the Infected to land their attacks since all they have is a knife.
Keep Strafing to Make Yourself a Harder Target
Make sure to strafe in different directions when engaging an enemy. Infected are likely to use their throwing knives when there is distance between you two. Make sure they miss their attack to remove the threat of their ranged attacks!
Utilize Claymores to Deter Infected
Remember to utilize your Claymores and place them on blind spots or narrow pathways. These can instantly kill infected, helping you run out the clock as they lose precious seconds to respawn!
Place Deployable Cover in Choke Points
Try to place your Deployable Cover on choke points such as narrow doorways. These can stop Infected from easily getting in a building. If they decide to vault over it, you can use it as a chance to shoot them down while they're vulnerable!
Infected Tips
Aggressively Hunt Down Targets
It is recommended to aggressively hunt down targets. With your loadout, utilize your added mobility to hunt down and get new teammates! Killing survivors also adds time to the clock, giving you more breathing room!
Use Dead Silence As Often As Possible
Dead Silence is a very useful field upgrade as it lets you sneak up on unsuspecting targets! Take advantage of its fast recharge rate to flank and get the jump on enemies!
Stick With Your Teammates
It is better to hunt down enemies with another infected player. Since survivors carry shotguns, they will not be able to do substantial damage to a pair of infected players due to the shotgun's low fire rate.
