Loadout Drops are not part of the discounted items during a Fire Sale event. They still cost a whopping 10000 in cash to buy, but at least you can divert your cash saved from the discount toward getting one faster.

Lasts Only 60 Seconds
Fire Sale event will only lasts 60 seconds. Considering that the events arrive without warning, you may not even be able to get to a Buy Station in time. You can however, go ambush the crowd gathering near buy Stations if you're late to the party.
Buy Back Teammates As Priority
As buy stations will be fizzled with activity during a Fire Sale, don't expect to be able to shop in peace. Since Redeploying a dead teammate is free, you should at least have your fingers at ready on Redeploy Teammate when accessing a buy station.
How to Redeploy & Revive TeammatesBeware Of Rush Battles At Buy Stations
As people rush to get a sale, so are opportunistic enemies waiting in ambush. Use Smoke to hide your purchase or have your teammates clear the area before going in.
