1. Equip Spotter Perk First
| Perk Description |

| See enemy equipment, field upgrades, and killstreaks through walls. Mark them for your team by aiming down sights. Hack enemy Claymores, Proximity Mines, C4, and Trophy Systems. |
The Spotter perk is needed in order for you to be able to hack enemy equipment. Remember to equip it first or set it as a custom loadout before you attempt hacking.

Hacking an equipment requires you to be in close proximity to the enemy device. When the "Hack" prompt appears, press and hold the interact button for a few seconds to start hacking. Approach it and maintain a safe distance, especially when hacking Claymores and Proximity Mines.
Hacking Leaves You Vulnerable
A few seconds are needed in order to fully hack an enemy equipment. Note that you're going to be vulnerable to enemy fire during this time. Try to look for good blind or safe spots before hacking.

Keep Distance When Hacking
Some lethals and equipment can trigger if you get near them, causing your death or alerting the enemy team of your presence. Always try to hack when you are at a safe distance.
