The Proximity Mine is a deployable lethal equipment that explodes when targets are in the vicinity, or when shot. It deals damage to an area of effect, but it's most effective when used against vehicles.

Will Lay Dormant Until Triggered
Once deployed, the Proximity Mine will lay dormant until it is triggered or shot at. It has a 360 degree detection radius which will set it off in about a second if enemies approach.
Pulsing Red Light Shows Position
When deploying the mine, make sure to keep it well-hidden. The Proximity Mine will have a pulsing red light, which may give it away to enemies who are checking their surroundings.
Deals More Damage To Vehicles
The Proximity Mine is most effective when used against vehicles such as tanks. Thanks to their small size, enemies will not realize it is waiting for them until they drive over the mine.
Recharges Over Time
Once you place mine, your mine's icon will be grayed out. However, the icon will start to recharge. If you wait long enough, you will be able to deploy another Proximity Mine.

Use In Broad Daylight
The Proximity Mine is best used when placed in Broad Daylight. Due to the increased brightness, the pulsing red light is less noticeable and can cause enemies to miss it while they are passing by.
Place Near Objectives
You can place your Proximity Mines near objectives such as Control Points and use them to defend those objectives. Once an enemy approaches the objectives, it will set off the mines, giving you easy kills and bonus points for playing objectives!
Shoot To Destroy Enemy Mines
If you spot an enemy mine, you can opt to shoot it. This will cause the mine to explode, and kill any nearby enemies that are close to the mine!
What Are Lethals
Used To Damage Enemies
Lethals are equipment which you throw or place on the ground such as grenades or mines to damage or even kill enemies. Using lethals at the right timing is the key to your success.
Unlock Lethals
Leveling up your ranks in CoD: MW will unlock various lethals that you can use in various multiplayer game modes! These include Perks, other equipments, weapons, and more!
