A Night Map Version Of The Verdansk Map
Night Mode may be a variant of the classic Night Vision mode from Modern Warfare. In Night Mode, the maps are the same but the lighting is lowered, causing shifts in tactics and strategies.

In Verdansk (Night), buildings and certain locations have their lights on. Compared to MW's NVG Mode, the lighting here is less restrictive and players can still play even without NVG. However, note that shadows and some dark spots can be hard to see, so be wary of hidden foes.

Do You Need Night Vision Goggles?
Night Vision Goggles or NVG allows you to see through the dark. While it is night and dark, you do not need to have NVG in Verdansk (Night). You also do not start with NVG unlike MW's Night Maps. To help you fight in the dark, you can equip your weapons with NVG or infra-red scopes.

As opposed to daylight fights, the night makes muzzle flashes significantly distinct, making the shooter's location very visible. Use this knowledge to track the whereabouts of shooters during the fight.
Use The Shadows
If you find yourself sprinting to another location, use the shadows to mask your movement. Although not a fool-proof measure, the shadows do make your profile hard to see for enemy shooters, reducing your chances of getting spotted and shot.
