Create A CoD Account
Crossplay will require you to create a Call of Duty account to keep track of all your stats across all platforms. If you have not yet created an account, you can do so here.
Used To Create Parties For Crossplay
Your CoD account will be used to help you create a friends list of players who have the game. You can choose players on this Friends List to squad up and get in on the action regardless of what system they are playing on!
Opt-In For Crossplay
Modern Warfare will give you the option to enable Crossplay in your game. You will need to enable this option under the Account Tab in Settings to be able to play cross platform against other players.
Look For A Match
Once you have enabled crossplay, you will be matched up with players on different consoles and platforms the next time you queue up!

Fight Against Players On Different Platforms
Crossplay is a feature that allows you to match up against players on different platforms. This will let all players get the most out of the game regardless of what platform they are playing on.
Available Platforms
- PS4
- Xbox One
- PC
Several Input Method Options
Crossplay allows you to choose what input method you prefer. You can opt to use a Keyboard and Mouse (KBM) on consoles, or even controller on PCs!
Match Up Against Similar Players
By default, you will be able to match up with players who have chosen the same input method as you. However, you can also choose to play against players of a different control scheme.
Crossplay Can Be Turned Off in Options
Should you choose, you can also turn off the Crossplay functionality from your option menu. When disabled, you will only match with players using similar platform as you are right now.
Crossplay Supported Modes
Crossplay will be available for all multiplayer modes. However, you will not be able to play cross platform on ranked or competitive modes.
