Remember to regularly experiment and tune your sensitivities and settings to those that suit you. Although debatable, low sensitivity settings are better suited for beginners since it allows for precise adjustments.

When playing on PC, it is highly recommended you turn off Mouse Acceleration and Vertical Sync setting found in the game menu and on your PC's OS settings. These will in most cases result in you overshooting your aim.

In CODMW, there are 3 Aim Assist options on gamepad; Standard, Experimental and Enhanced. These Aim Assist work in a way as it slows down your aim when pointing close to a target, with each varying degree of assist levels.

Learning how to land a headshot is an essential key to racking up quick kills. Practice thoroughly to be able to quickly place your crosshair on the target even in a quick encounter.

Mounting your weapon onto the sides of obstacles will allow you to reduce the recoil of your weapon when firing. Make it a habit of mounting your weapons to increase your accuracy and constantly hit your targets.
