Zombies Royale Release & End Time
Zombies Royale will start on October 20 as part of The Haunt Of Verdansk Event. The time for the update is 10:00 PDT based on past precedents. This limited-time event will continue all the way until November 3 and let killed players roam as zombies to help their team.

Zombies Mode (Zombie Royale) 2020 Overview
Zombie Royale 2020
A limited-time event: Zombie Royale will be available for challenge! Players killed in this unique Battle Royale Mode will become controllable zombies, gaining higher mobility but can't use weapons. The last squad standing with a surviving Operator wins, even if the rest of the squad is a zombie.

While you lose your guns & loadout as a Zombie, you now have otherworldly powers at your side: increased speed, improved jumps, deadlier melee attacks, and thermal vision. Coordinate with your team and you just might be the supernatural ally that turns the tide!
Respawn By Collecting 2 Syringes
When a player is killed, a syringe is dropped that shows up on the map. Collecting 2 of these Syringes while as a Zombie, allows you to respawn again as a human with weapons. Note that if you die as a Zombie, it's game over.

Playing As A Zombie
Use Charged Jump To Cover Ground
Although Zombies lose their weapons, they do get abilities that enhance their mobility. One of which is the Charged Jump. Make good use of this ability by using it to close the gap or to scale buildings and ambush your enemies.
Use The Mini-Map
As a Zombie, you can spot nearby enemies as your mini-map regularly updates info to locate nearby hostiles. Use this information to plan your approach and ambush enemies.
Use Gas & EMP To Disrupt
Aside from your Charged Jump, you can also use a Gas Grenade and an EMP burst to disrupt your enemy's movement as a Zombie. Use these abilities and carefully time them to increase your odds against an armed target.
Flank & Attack
Charging towards an enemy as a Zombie is not a good idea. You'll be peppered down with bullets before you reach your target despite your increased speed. Flank and try to catch your target unaware before making your move. Also, target isolated enemies for easy picking.
