The Frag Grenade is a thrown lethal grenade that explodes after a certain period of time (around 3 seconds) after its pin has been pulled. You can "cook" it to make it explode immediately after reaching its target!

Bounce Off Surfaces
Frag Grenades will not explode, but bounce off walls other surfaces until its timer is up. Use it to surprise enemies by bouncing it into corners.
Detonates After A Certain Time
When the pin is pulled, the Frag Grenade will detonate after a certain amount of time has passed. This gives enemies enough time to run away from the grenade. Keep this in mind when cooking the grenade!
Cook Timer Resets When Thrown Back
The frag grenade's cook timer resets when you throw it back at an enemy. Keep this in mind when throwing the frag. Cook it for a few seconds before throwing so that the enemy will not have time to pick it up before it explodes!
Frag Grenade - Lethal Tips
Use in Tight Spaces
The Frag Grenade is best used in tight spaces such as small rooms or narrow corridors. This makes the explosion much more effective since it covers more area and prevents enemies from running away!
Control Blast Timer By "Cooking" It
Control Frag Grenade's blast timer by using a technique called "cooking". Here's how it goes:
- Press and hold on to the lethal command key (G by default) to pull grenade pin.
- Hold the lethal command key for 1~2 second to let the blast timer go by.
- Let go of the lethal command key to throw grenade.
You Can Open Doors While Cooking Grenades
You can prepare to throw a grenade before you open and breach a room. Do this to save time while keeping your enemies unaware of your presence.
Aim to Throw at Grouped Enemies
For maximum damage, aim your throws at enemies that are grouped together. Since the amount of time it takes to detonate the grenade is short, you may be able to deal huge amounts of damage to multiple enemies!

Used To Damage Enemies
Lethals are equipment which you throw or place on the ground such as grenades or mines to damage or even kill enemies. Using lethals at the right timing is the key to your success.
