Double Time - Perk Explained

Double Time Perk Basic Information

Sprint Faster, Crouch Faster

Double Time is a pretty straightforward perk, doubling the duration of your sprint while also increasing your crouch movement speed. Great for both offensive and defensive plays.

Double Time Multiplayer Tips

Close In For The Kill

With the very lengthy sprint duration, you can use this to close the gap between you and your enemies. Sprinting also makes you harder to shoot, a good perk for scouts.

Quick & Deadly With Shotguns & SMGs

Capitalize on your extended sprint duration by running towards enemy positions and eliminating them with either a shotgun or an SMG.

Move Faster While Crouching With Riot Shield

A major weakness to the Riot Shield is its exposed legs, which can be hidden if crouched. Crouching reduces your speed a lot, but Double Time can push forward with the speed of normal walking, greatly increasing mobility.

High Alert For Awareness

Sprinting out in the open and darting from cover to cover gives your enemies a chance to shoot you down. High Alert helps in keeping you on your toes when you are moving.

Ghost Plus Suppressed Weapons For Silent Kills

Double Time's speed, if complemented with the Ghost Perk and a suppressed weapon, allows you to quickly and stealthily take down enemies without leaving a trace.

Spot For Your Team

Alternatively, you can use the Spotter Perk to scout enemy traps and deadly killstreaks for your team to avoid. The added sprint duration increases your chances of getting out alive after scanning an area. The Spotter Perk also helps in preventing you from blindly triggering enemy claymores.

Toss And Run

With the extended sprint duration, you can easily close the gap between you and the enemy's position. Once you reach them, you can quickly chuck a C4 to score a kill or more. You can also do this tactic with a Throwing Knife.

Go Scouting With Heartbeat Sensor & Snapshot Grenade

Provide more info for your team by making use of a Heartbeat sensor or a Snapshot Grenade for awareness. You can also use these tools to find targets to sprint to and hunt down.

What Are Perks?

Perks are like a buff/debuff which passively effects you or your opponents while playing multiplayer. You have 3 perk slots and you can choose 1 perk per each slots according to your style of play. Change them out at Custom Loadouts.
