Riot Shield Traits
Portable Bulletproof Shield
Although it takes up your weapon slot, the Riot Shields can stop all incoming bullets from where it is facing, only having little exposure. The Shield can be used as a melee weapon, to bash the helpless target down by force. The Shield can also cover your back when not equipped off hand.
Cannot Use Any Weapons
While carrying the Riot Shield, you cannot wield any other weapons, forcing you to focus only on defense. You can work in tandem with a teammate to defeat incoming threats while protecting both of you with your shield.Check Out All Weapons Here!
Protects Your Rear
When holstered, the Riot Shield protects your backside from enemy fire. This makes it very useful for playstyles that require running around the map as it offers protection for your rear. However, note that the shield is not long enough to protect your feet, making them vulnerable to attack.Check Out The Best Custom Loadouts Here!
How To Counter Riot Shield
Best Way: Use Thermite
Thermite, when thrown, sticks to the surface of an object while slowly burning itself and dealing damage to those around it. Thermite sticks to the Riot Shield and its damage can go through it. Simply throw one when you encounter a Shield-user.Check Out The Thermite Guide Here!
Double Team With A Teammate
One of the easiest ways of getting around a Riot Shield-wielding opponent is to flank them with another teammate. One can maintain pressure, forcing the Riot Shield-user to hold ground or face only one direction, while the other one circles around and hits the flank or rear.
