The Siege of Arianrhod Strategy Guide
Trap Floor Heavily Influences Tactics
This map is designed around Trap Floors - a tile that greatly slows you down. You'll be tempted to barge ahead with fast units, only for them to be cut off from your slower units and picked off.
Use 2 Levers To Deactivate Trap Floors
A lever is each placed at the bottom right and top left of the map. Pulling all of them disables all trap floors. Activating 2 levers quickly is the objective.
Start The Game With Cavalry & Fast Units At Right Side
You'll be forced to place 3 units at the right side of the map. Place your Cavalry and fast units here so they can go activate Lever 1, cross the trap tiles on the bottom and regroup with your main force.
Send Your Main Force Through Center, Then Bottom Left
Keep your main force together and eliminate Rodrigue. Then go bottom left while maintaining formation toward lever 2.
Gang Up On Titanus
Titanus requires many units to handle properly. This is why its essential not to have your faster units charge ahead alone without backup. Maintain formation until you can get trap floors down.
