Methods To Get Perfect Potential
Regular Pals: Breeding
For the most part, you will be using the Breeding Farm to get a Pal with high IV. The Skills and IV of the parent Pal will be transfered to the child, so once you have some strong Pals, it will become easier to breed stronger Pals.
Regular Pals: Breeding High IV Pals
- Create base for breeding
- Choose which Pals you will use to breed
- Check Potential (IV) of child Pal
- Switch with Parent if the IV is high
- Repeat Steps 3 and 4
First you want to build a base specifically for breeding. Build multiple Breeding Farms and mass-produce Cake.

At Level 36, you can obtain an upgraded Egg Incubator called the Electric Egg Incubator, a new addition from the latest update that automatically regulates the egg's temperature, making it more efficient for hatching eggs. However, it requires electricity to operate.
Best Generating Electricity Pals
Search for the quickest way to breed the Pal you want. Keep in mind that the IV stats and Passive Skills will get transferred to the child Pal.
When you reach Lvl 34, you can make yourself a pair of Ability Glasses which allows you to check the Potential (IV) of the Pals. This will make it a lot easier for you to breed the Pal you want.
Use the IV Calculator to see if the child Pal has the stats of a 30% IV Pal if you don't have glasses just yet. If it is within the ideal range, level it up to Lvl 10 to get a more specific value. You can easily level it up if you make Baked Berries in your base.
Your Palbox will be full of the same Pals, so it will make it easier to distinguish them if you take note of their values by changing their names. You can change the names any time, so you can change it back if needed.
If you get a child Pal with high IV, put it in the Breeding Farm with another parent that doesn't have the same high stats. For example, putting a "Female with Legend Skill and 30% DEF IV" and "Male with Musclehead Skill and 30% ATK IV" in the Breeding Farm will eventually result in the perfect child Pal.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you get a Pal with perfect stats. Once you have the perfect Pal, use the remaining Pals you got during the process in the Condenser and also use Pal Souls to make it even stronger.
Getting The Perfect High IV Pal
New Stat Boosting Items
Defeating the raid boss Bellanoir Libero rewards you with a fruit that boosts a Pal's stats. This will allow you to strengthen a Pal without having to breed a new one with higher Potential.

Required If You Want A Strong Combat Pal
Even if Pals have the same skills, the IV will make a huge difference to the stats so if you want a strong Pal for combat you will need to get a Pal with high IV. Make sure you are looking at both the Passive Skills and IV when creating Pals for combat.
Pals For Base And Riding
You don't need to worry about the stats if the Pal is for working at the base or for riding. In that case, they just need to have good Passive Skills.
Pals With High IV And Strong Passive Skills
The ideal Pal would have high IV (25-30%) and strong Passive Skills. It will take a lot of time to create a Pal with 30% IV for all stats and 4 strong Passive Skills, so you may need to compromise at some point.
Best Passive Skills
If it's a Pal for combat, you don't have to worry about getting a negative effect for working speed. You want skills like Legend, Musclehead and Ferocious to increase attack power in addition to skills that increase elemental damage by 20% such as Lord of Lightning and Spirit Emperor.
