Utilize the momentum from firing the Grappling Gun to achieve high-speed movement with the glider. Although practice is essential to master this technique, it enables comfortable navigation even in the early stages when you don't have a fast-moving Pal you can use to fly.

Use Grapple To Move Even When Encumbered

Even if your character is slowed down due to reaching the max weight limit, using the Grappling Gun allows for swift movement. Especially within bases, the Grappling Gun proves useful for transporting materials that are too cumbersome, as it can anchor to walls, furniture, containers, and more.

Slide While Crouching During A Dash

In areas with inclines like hills, sliding down (dash + crouch) allows for quick and agile movement. Leveraging momentum, sliding towards a cliff and seamlessly transitioning to a glider enables you to cover greater distances than conventional methods.

Usually Pals on the base will fall asleep at night, but if they are Nocturnal Pals then they can work at night as well. Especially if you are playing on the Multi-Server then it will be hard to to skip through the night, so the best way to work at night is getting Nocturnal Pals.

Butcher Pals To Get 2x Drop Chance

When you Butcher a Pal, you can obtain drop items just like when you defeat or capture it. Especially for boss individuals, they offer additional chances for drops like legendary blueprints, making Butcher a viable option for those seeking specific loot.

The Raid Boss Does Not Drop Any Items When Butchered

Please note that Pal acquired by hatching the Egg reward for defeating the raid boss will not drop items, even if you Butcher them.

Skill CT Resets When You Drop Pal

Dropping a Pal from the Party and then collecting it allows for the immediate reuse of Partner Skills and Pal skills. You can use skills continuously during battle if you get used to it although it may be a bug or glitch that might be fixed in future updates.

You Can Trade At The Base By Catching A Merchant

Pal Merchants, where you can buy Pals, and Wandering Merchants, where you can purchase items, become available for trading anytime by capturing and placing them in your base. It's recommended to only get them out from the Palbox when needed, as having them constantly placed fills one slot in the base Pal lineup.

You Can Jump Up The Captured Sphere

While capturing the Pal, you can climb up and jump above the Sphere during the capture rate calculations. When you successfully capture the Pal while your character is on top, it triggers a high jump afterwards, allowing you to move to a higher position.

Other Tips and Tricks

Approach Northwest Of The Map

The World Tree in the northwest part of the map has invisible walls around it. These barriers turn red when you reach the limit, preventing you from getting close, even if you try to go over water. But there are some spaces at the top of these area boundaries that you can fly through if you go up high enough. Although you can get close, you can't actually land. However, you can still try if you want to explore, but be cautious.

Strongest NPC : Reincarnated Old Man

When you move southwest from the Small Settlement using fast travel, there's a level 50 NPC called Reincarnated Guy below the cliff. There's no special reward, but if you're curious, you can go meet him.
