Best Pals For Breeding Base

Assign Parent Pals And Pals For Making Cake

You need to assign Pals that will become the parents, and Pals to make the cake which will also be necessary for breeding.

Required for Berry Plantation and Wheat Plantation. Since the Breed base requires various types of Pals, assign just one Pal with a high Planting Work Suitability level if possible.

Not only Watering for Berry Plantations and Wheat Plantations, you will also need it for the Mill to create Flour. It is recommended to have Pals that has the work suitability of Planting, Gathering, and Transporting.

You will need to gather the Red Berries and Wheat that grows on the plantation. It is recommended to have Planting, Watering, Transporting work suitability Pals.

Necessary to create Cake ingredients by Farming. Chikipi produces Eggs, Mozzarina produces Milk, and Beegarde produces Honey, respectively. Since a feasible replacement for these roles is not available, go ahead and assign these three. You can assign up to four Pals at the Ranch. Increase the allocation of Pals for materials when the inventory is running low on milk and eggs to ensure an ample supply, as these items are more likely to be depleted due to their high demand.

You will need to gather Red Berries and Wheat from plantations, Milk, Honey, and Eggs from the ranch to put them in the Wooden Chest. It is recommended to have Pals with work suitability Planting, Gathering, Watering.

You will need Kindling to bake a Cake, and the higher the work suitability, the less time it will take to make it. You will want Kindling Lvl 4, if you want to use the Cooking Pot, and Jormuntide Ignis or a Condensed Reptyro has a Lvl 3 which will take about 3 min and 40 second to bake a Cake. Lvl 4 will take about 1 min 10 seconds.

Cooling Pals will be needed to place Cakes in the Cooler Box once they are done. Normally a Cake will only last about 20 min, so Cooling Pal with Lvl 1 will last at least 2 hours. Assigning Lvl 1~2 is enough. Vanwyrm Cryst and Hangyu Cryst are both nocturnal so they will work at night so they are recommended.

West Of Azurobe Hill

The first location recommeded for your Base is west of "Azurobe Hill". You can see the entire plains, and there is enough space to create a good enough base.

West Of The Sea Breeze Archipelago Reef

The 2nd location recommended for a base is west of "The Sea Breeze Archipelago". There isn't much slopes, and you can build structures without stress. Also you can get Ore which is an amazing point.

West Of Rayne Syndicate Tower

The 3rd location recommended for Breeding Base is on the cliff of "West of Rayne Syndicate Tower". There are not much slopes or mountains and if you set the base in the middle, then there aren't any trees. The enemies nearby are low levels so it is a great location for beginner level players.

How To Make A Breeding Base

Build a Breeding Farm

Assigning one male and one female Pal to the Breeding Farm allows for breeding, so the Breeding Farm is essential. Assign the Parent Pals that you want to breed. Since only one pair can be assigned at a time, consider increasing the number of Breeding Farms if you want to increase the efficiency of breeding.

Build a Foundation and Surround the Farm with Walls

The Pals sometimes get unassigned and leave the Farm by accident. You can avoid this (most of the time) by creating a foundation under the Farm and surrounding the Farm with walls.

Setup An Area To Bake Cake

To breed the Pals in the Breeding Farm, one Cake is required each time to start the breeding process. You can set up a system for making Cake at the base since all the materials can be produced in the base.

Get Red Berries From Berry Plantations

Red Berries can be produced at the Berry Plantation. Set up 2 to 3 plantations to increase production. It is to produce plenty of them since they can also serve as food for the Pals If there are any extra red berries so they don't go to waste.

Produce Flour From The Wheat Plantation & Mill

Producing flour involves placing wheat in the mill. You can cultivate Wheat at the Wheat Plantations, consider setting up 2 to 3 of them for mass production.

Get Milk, Egg, & Honey From Ranch

For the other materials, Milk, Egg, and Honey, assign them to each of the Pals mentioned above. Since you can only assign up to four Pals to a single Ranch, it is advisable to set up another Ranch if there is available space for additional Pals in your base.

Make Cake In The Cooking Pot

Use the ingredients to create a Cake in the Cooking Pot. Since making a Cake takes time, assign a Pal with a Kindling Work Suitability level of 4 or at least 3.

Build Egg Incubator

When an Egg is produced in the Breeding Farm, you can hatch it in the Egg Incubator. Since incubation takes time, setting up multiple incubators allows simultaneous progress, making it a recommended choice for Hatching Pals.

Upgrade To Electric Egg Incubator

Unlike the standard Egg Incubator, the new Electric Egg Incubator boasts automatic temperature regulation. This means that you no longer need to manually adjust the temperature ideal for each egg you are trying to hatch, thus increasing hatching efficiency.

You Can Set The Incubation Time To 0 In World Settings

In the World Settings, you can change the incubation time, Time (h) To Incubate Massive Egg, to your preference. The initial setting is 2, but if you want to remove the waiting time then set it to 0. Then only one Egg Incubator will be needed, so you can consider changing it if you want to speed things up.

Install Beds And Hot Springs

You need a bed and Hot Spring for Pals to rest. You will need a bed for each Pal in the base.

Build Wooden Chests

Install Wooden Chests as storage to transport gathered materials such as Red Berries and Wheat. Put the Cake in the Cooler Box to store and keep it fresh longer since it has a limited time before it gets spoiled then it will disappear.

You can increase the efficiency of some tasks by setting up certain structures. You only need one of each as the effects do not stack.

Recommended To Catch The Black Marketeer

As the number of Pals continues to increase through breeding, it is recommended to capture a Black Marketeer so that you can sell unnecessary Pals in the base. Disassembling one Pal at a time takes time, and you'll need to move each Pal to your inventory to do so.

Breeding Farm Base Benefits

Roll Passive Skills Efficiently

Pals have a chance to inherit the parent's passive skills from breeding, so you will need to reroll many eggs in the process to transfer the passive skills you need. So having a base solely for Pal Breeding where the Cake production is set up together with the Breed Farming allows for significantly efficient progress in selective breeding.

You Can Also Get New Pals

Through breeding, you can mix and match to produce Pals that you haven't captured yet or have trouble catching. This also makes it convenient if you are trying to complete the Paldeck.
