Set Up Ore Mining Site In Your Base

You Can Mine At Any Location

With the new update, 2 new items can be unlocked from the Ancient Technology List. Set up the Ore Mining Site to have your Mining Suitability Pals mine at any of your bases. You can also assign Mining Suitability Lvl 1 Pals to these sites.

Recommended Base Location For Ore

Set Up Base Until You Can Unlock Ore Mining Site

The Ore Mining Site can be unlocked at the Player Lvl 15, and Ore Mining Site II at Lvl 31 which is quite a high level to achieve. Until you get to this level, here are some recommended locations where you can set up your base.

Plains SouthWest Of Small Settlement

The first recommended location for farming Ores, is southwest of "Small Settlement". There are 8 Ore Deposits, so it is the perfect place to mine Ore. The surrounding enemies are also weak so this is recommended for the 2nd base in Early game.

High Cliff West Of Fort Ruins

The second location recommended for your Ore Base, is on the cliff west of "Fort Ruins". There are less enemies that will attack you so if you are having trouble with enemies then this place is recommended. Like the Small Settlement, this is another great location for your 2nd base.

Sealed Realm of the Thunder Dragon

The 3rd location recommended as an Ore base is on the cliff, west of "Sealed Realm of the Thunder Dragon". This location has the important aspects for a base, having wide range plains and Relaxaurus spawns, which is important for breeding.The enemy's level is a little high, so if you are planning to make a base here, it is recommended to be prepared with armor and strong Pals.

How To Create An Automated Ore Base

Build a Palbox and Set up a Base

Palbox	Unlock Lvl 2 Paldium Fragment ×1 Wood ×8 Stone ×3

First to create a Base, set up a Palbox. With the Palbox in the center, the surrounding area will become the base so place the Palbox in the very center.

Set up a Bed and Hot Spring

Structure	Unlock & Required Materials
Fluffy Pal Bed	Unlock Lvl 24 Cloth ×10 Wood ×30 Nails ×5 Fiber ×10
Hot Spring	Unlock Lvl 9 Wood ×30 Stone ×15 Paldium Fragment ×10 Pal Fluids ×10
High Quality Hot Spring	Unlock Lvl 31 Stone ×100 Wood ×100 Paldium Fragment ×30 Cement ×20

You will need beds and hot springs for the Pals to rest. Place a bed for each Pal there is at the base, they will all need their own bed.

Set up a Berry Plantation

To make everything automatic, you will also need to make food for the working Pals at the base. To create food, place 2 to 3 Berry Plantations at the base.

Set up a Feed Box

Structure	Unlock & Required Materials
Feed Box	Unlock Lvl 4 Wood ×20

By placing Feed Boxes, Pals will automatically eat food from there. Once your automatic base is created, the Pals will place the berries made at the plantation inside the Feed Boxes so placing 1 near the center of the base is recommended.

Set up a Chest for Gathering

The chests, about 2-3, where the Ore will be stored should be placed near the Ores. If there is only 1 chest, then the Pals have to move around a lot, so setting up more than one is recommended. But if there are too many, collecting them from the chests will take more time so be careful.

Set up a Pickaxe and Helmet

By setting up the Pickaxe and Helmet, the working speed of the Pals at the mine will increase.They don't need multiple, so setting up just 1 is OK. Place it on the side so it doesn't get in the way.

The Flower Bed, Fountain, and Silo increases the work speed on the base. If you have extra space and materials, then set these up as well.

Assign Pals

Once your base is all set, assign your Pals. For the Berry Plantation you will need 1 each for "Planting", "Watering", and "Gathering". 2 Pals for "Transporting" ores and berries. For the rest you can assign them to "Mining" to mine Ore.
