How To Stop Pals Getting Stuck

Move Base To Flat Area
Pals will get stuck frequently if you build your base in areas with many objects like trees and hills. So you should consider finding an area with a flat surface when looking for a place for your base.
Best Base Locations - Best Place To Set Up Base
Prevent Respawn Of Trees And Rocks
Unnecessary trees and rocks inside the base can be prevented from respawning by placing the structure on top after gathering. If you want to build a proper building then you can place a foundation to prevent it from spawning but in the early game Stool or Houseplant is recommended
Obtain Stone And Wood From the Logging Site / Stone Pit
Technology unlocked at Player Level 7, Logging Site, and Stone Pit can be used to unlimited farm wood and rock. Ore does not have a special workplace to farm, so make sure not to build anything on top to prevent it from respawning.
Adjust Paths Between Workplaces
Pals tend to get stuck if you build their workplaces close together. Try building them far away from each other to avoid them getting stuck in between.
Adjust Placement Of Chests And Feed Boxes
If there are other workplaces or stairs in the middle of a path, the Pals could get stuck there. To avoid this, place chests and Feed Boxes near their workplace or make some space for Pals to move around.
Do Not Use Alpha Pals
Alpha Pals are larger than regular Pals, making it easier for them to get stuck. Try to avoid using Alpha Pals in your base if you have regular Pals of the same kind.
Do Not Place The Workplaces At The Edge Of Base Area
Sometimes Pals will try to get behind the structure, so try not to build at the edge of the base area. If Pal tries to leave the base area, it will freeze, stop moving, and stop eating.
Have Enaugh Space Inside Buildings
If you want to build a building inside the base with stairs and walls, it is recommended to have at least 2 stair widths and 3 wall heights. Large pals could get stuck on the roof or stairs if the size of the building/stairs is not big enough.
Place Pal Bed Outside Of Pal's Active Area
As long as the bed is placed within the base area, Sanity will recover even if Pal did not sleep in the bed. Placing beds at locations Pals can't access will make them sleep at workplaces reducing the risk of Pals getting stuck.
What To Do When Pals Get Stuck
Put Them Back In The Palbox
If there is a Pal that got stuck, put them in the Palbox and then back into the base again to reset their position. This will free them from where they got stuck.
Pick Up Stuck Pals
You can free any Pals that got stuck by picking them up and moving them. If they still keep getting stuck, you may want to consider changing the layout of your base.
Go Back To The Title And Load Into The Game Again
Going to the title screen and then loading back to the game might fix Pals being stuck, but this might not work well in a multiplayer server, so if this method doesn't work try other methods mentioned above.
