Choosing Pals For Your Party

Choose Pals With Different Roles

choose pals with roles

Palworld has different objectives such as exploring and fighting. So each of the 5 Pals you select for your party should cover different needs. Also once the core party is assembled it is easy to make a spot for leveling up.

▶List of All Pals - Check Pals Roles

Avoid Multiple Pals With The Same Role

For example, having 2 flying Pals in a party is not recommended as you can only summon 1 Pal at a time. So change your Pals if more than one of them have the same skills or advantages.

Party For Tower Boss Battle

adjust party for tower boss

If you're planning on challenging a Tower Boss, you don't need certain Pals like for transportation. In this case, include Element attackers that are strong against the Boss and then add Pals that can increase your damage output just by having them in your party.

▶Best Pals For Battle

Use A Specialized Party For Material Runs

recommended Pal for mining

If you are planning to mine lots of Ore or if you have a farming route, then you will not need any combat Pals. In the free slots, you can add Pals that increase effectiveness in Mining like Digtoise. Or you can add Pals that increase your Weight to carry more resources.

Narrow Down Resources You Want To Gather

In the early game, you will want various types of resources, but if you wander around gathering random resources, you won't be able to use your Pals efficiently. If you want Leather then focus on leather, or if you want Ore then focus on Ore so that you can gather resources more efficiently by using different Pals.

How To Use Your Party

Pals For Exploration And Battle

how to change party Pals

Pals in your team can be summoned at any time by the Player. Combat, exploration, riding, and resource gathering can be easily done with the help of the Pals on your team.

Max 5 Pals In Your Party

Pals captured with spheres will automatically be added to your party. But you can only carry a maximum of 5, so after the 6th Pal, they will be sent to your Palbox.

Pal In Your Party Will Also Work In Your Base

Pal in your party

The number of Pals that can be assigned to your base is limited depending on the base level, but Pals in your team do not count towards this nor are they affected by day/night cycles. So a Pal summoned from your team will work automatically when inside your Base.

You Can Also Assign

When you summon Pals, you can assign them to a specific task by throwing the sphere towards where you want to assign them.
