Treasure Chest Locations & Locked Chests List

Among the treasure chests that appear in the field, locked treasure chests will also randomly appear. The keys that can be used for locked treasure chests also vary depending on the area, so please refer to the locations of chests that can be opened with gold, silver, and bronze keys.
* When you select a key on the right side of the map tool, the locations of treasure chests that it can open are displayed.
Location Of Treasure Chests That Need Keys

Gold Keys can be used on treasure chests in the Snowy Mountains. Silver Keys can be used on treasure chests in the Desert, Volcano, and Forest areas while Copper Keys can be used on treasure chests in other locations.

You can obtain Legendary Schematics from key-locked treasure chests that appear in each field, albeit at a low probability. Since the Legendary contents vary depending on the key used, if you want Schematics for high-level equipment, try circling the Snowy Mountains using the Gold Key.

Treasure Chests In The Wildlife Sanctuary Also Have Them
Although very rare, Legendary Schematics may also be found in treasure chests within the Wildlife Sanctuary. When capturing Pals and collecting items at the Wildlife Sanctuary, be sure to open the treasure chests as well.

At Default, Respawns After About 4 Hours
Treasure Chests will all respawn after a certain period of time. With the default settings, they will respawn after about 4 hours. The respawn locations are all fixed, but the type of chest and what's inside are all random.
Speed Up The Time For Faster Respawn

If you want to speed up the respawn time of the chests, change Day Time Speed and Night Time Speed to 5 in the World Settings. The respawn time will be reduced from 4 hours to approximately 50 min.
Difficulty Settings GuideSleep If It Doesn't Respawn
There was a case where the treasure chest did not respawn when it should, and did not respawn even after restarting the game. However, sleeping overnight solved this possible bug and respawned the treasure chest. So, try sleeping in the bed if a treasure chest is not respawning.

There are 3 types of treasure chests. The locked chests are the most valuable and if you're lucky you can obtain Legendary Schematics. However, the chance of obtaining them is low so you will have to keep opening treasure chests until you find one.
Chance Of Obtaining Key From Treasure Chest Without Lock
From unlocked Treasure Chests, you might find Gold Key, Silver Key, and Copper Keys. You can collect keys from unlocked Treasure Chests so open any kind of Treasure Chest when you find them while exploring.
Wild Sanctuary Unlocked Treasure Chests Have Good Items In Them
In the Wild Sanctuary, there are no locked Treasure Chests, but you can still get rare items from those chests. From the yellow chests you can get "Accessories", and from purple chests you can get Schematics or Skill Fruits.
