Best Way To Farm Money

An easy way to farm money in Palworld is using a trap on Black Marketeers. The process of defeating them and farming for money can be done easily in the early parts of the game. If you want to farm money, we recommend trying this first. You can get about 10,000 to 15,000 Gold every time, and depending on the World Settings in about 1 hour you will be able to get about 1 million Gold.

How To Farm Money From Black Marketeer

Prepare a Campfire and Hanging Trap.

Hanging Trap Materials

Hanging Trap	[Unlock at Lvl 4] Wood ×10 /Stone ×5

The Campfire and Hanging Trap unlock levels are low, and you can create both with Wood and Stone which can be found in the early game so these should be easy to make.

Head to Black Marketeer's location.

When you are ready, head to the nearest Black Marketeer's location. This can be any one of them on the map.

Eastern Wild Island is a good spot

The Black Marketeer in the Eastern Wild Island respawns just by moving away from its location. This makes it easier to make him respawn even if you are playing with other players so we recommend doing it here.

Use the Hanging Trap on the Black Marketeer.

Once you arrive at the Black Marketeer's location, set up the Hanging Trap near the Black Marketeer and then the Black Marketeer will be hung upside down, completely trapped.

Attack with your Pal and defeat him.

The upside down Black Marketeer will not be able to move or attack so it is up to the player how to defeat him. If you have a strong Pal, then it will make it easier to defeat together with the Player.

Set up a Campfire and burn it.

Build the Campfires below the Black Marketeer so it damages him. When the fire hits the Black Marketeer then he will start to burn and take damage.

Keep attacking.

If you defeat it with just the Fire damage, then it will be considered as a Natural death, and it won't drop any gold. You need to attack him directly at least once when defeating him.

Once you get Money, return to title screen.

When you defeat the Black Marketeer, pick up the money and open up the Option page and return to the title screen.

Move to another location if they don't respawn.

If the Black Marketeer doesn't respawn, move away from that location, use fast travel or go back there later. We confirmed that the one in Eastern Wild Island respawns by moving away from it and going back.

Black Marketeer will respawn and endless farming loop.

When you login again the Black Marketeer will respawn. If you defeated him with the Campfire sometimes he will already be burning so just wait for a while and directly attack before he goes down. Then you can repeat these steps and farm as much money as you would like!

Sell Salads

Mass-produce And Sell Salads

You can farm money by making lettuce and tomatoes at a plantation and using that to sell Salads. This doesn't require any materials you need to make Cake, which is necessary for Breeding, nor does it require an Electric Kitchen which means you won't need a Pal to generate electricity.

Your Player Level needs to be at least lvl 38 to build the plantations so try other methods if you haven't reached that level yet.

Build a Cooking Pot

You need a Cooking Pot to create Salads. It's best since it's easy to unlock at Lvl 17 and doesn't require electricity.

Summon required Pals in the base

The working Pals you need for the plantations are Planting, Watering, Gathering, Transporting Pals. You also need a Kindling Pal for cooking, so bring all of those to your base.

Better with high Gathering Lvl

If the Planting and Watering levels are high the Pals work faster, and with a high Gathering level the Pals can gather more items at once. This makes the process more efficient so we recommend using a Pal with a high Gathering level.

Wait for Pals to produce Tomatoes and Lettuce

Once you have all your Pals in the base, wait for the tomatoes and lettuce to start coming in the Feed Box. You can use other methods for money farming while you wait.

Make Salads using Tomatoes and Lettuce

Make Salads using Tomatoes and Lettuce you got from the plantations. This is where you need the Kindling Pal.

Sell Salads

Sell the Salads you made to a Merchant. You can sell one for 120 Gold. Salads are also useful as food, so leave some to use later too.

Go To Dungeons

Defeat The Boss And Open The Treasure Chest

You can obtain items that sell for a high price from the treasure chest you get access to after defeating a boss in a dungeon. The boss itself will also drop loot so you can get a few thousand Gold in one dungeon.

Sell Schematics You Don't Need

You can sometimes get Schematics for powerful equipment from treasure chests in dungeons. They sell at 1,000 Gold and you only need one of every kind, so if it's one you already have or it is not a rare one, you can sell it for Gold.

You can also get items to sell by defeating Alpha Pals and bosses in Sealed Realms. The bosses always appear in the same place and you can go there any time so it saves time finding them. You need to wait for them to respawn so you can defeat the other bosses while you wait.

Also Get Ancient Civilization Parts

Boss Pals also drop Ancient Civilization Parts. You will need it to craft certain items such as the Egg Incubator and Pal Essence Condenser so don't leave those behind.

How To Get Money Faster

Change World Settings

Increase Drop Items Multiplier

Using the Black Marketeer to farm money depends on how much money they drop, so you can increase the Drop Items Multiplier to make them drop more Gold. You can triple the amount if you max it out.

No More Selling Nails For Money After Update

The high price for Nails was not something in the game that was intended, so it has been fixed after an update on February 27. Selling Nails for money isn't efficient anymore.
