How To Get Raw Food

Pick Up Food That Grows In Clusters Along The Way

picking up food

Food can be obtained by collecting consumable items that grow on the map. You can easily gather a large quantity of red berries and mushrooms since they are commonly found in large numbers.

Red Berries Are Recommended In The Early Stages

red berries

In the early stages of the game, food can be scarce. It is recommended to make Red Berries as your main food source. They are frequently found in forest areas, so you can always head there to avoid running out of food supply. Furthermore you can obtain Berry Seeds through harvesting, allowing you to cultivate and produce more at your base.

Food Drops From Pals

▲For example, Lamball drops 'Lamball Mutton'.

When defeating or capturing Pals, you may obtain food as a drop item. It can be used for cooking, but you also have the option to consume it as is. If you find yourself in need of food, consider it as one of your choices.

Cooking Increases Nutritional Value

For example, the nutritional value of a red berry is 15, but by cooking it into Roasted Berry, the nutritional value increases to 21. Having prepared cooked food in advance can effectively stave off hunger.

Use Food From The Inventory

feeding Pals
By eating foods, it can heal the hunger of the Player and the Pals, and you can avoid them getting sick caused by starvation.

Automate Meals With Feed Bags

feed bag

You can equip the Feed Bag when you unlock it at Lvl 10, which automatically feeds you and your Pals if you have food. Crafting it is recommended if you tend to forget to feed your Pals.

Raw Food Uses

Restores Player And Pals Hunger Gauge

Food can prevent hunger by restoring the satiety of players and Pals.

Pals Placed In The Base Also Require Meals

feed box

If Pals placed at a base are starving, their SAN stat will decrease more easily, making them more susceptible to injury or illness. In order to increase work efficiency, it is necessary to feed them regularly through a food box.

You Will Starve If You Are Hungry For A Long Time

debuff caused by hunger

If the hunger state of players and Pals is neglected, it will lead to starvation, causing HP to continuously decrease until it reaches 1. Don't worry as your Character will not die from hunger, but its performance in various tasks will significantly decrease.

HP Does Not Recover When In A State Of Hunger

The player's HP automatically recovers when satiety is above a certain level, but it does not recover in a state of hunger. Being hungry during combat is extremely dangerous, so it's advisable to consume food before engaging in battle if possible.

How To Produce Raw Food From The Base Farm

Establish A Farm For A Stable Food Supply

plantation

If you set up fields like a Berry Farm, you can generate food from your base. If Pals placed at your base remain hungry for an extended period, they will enter a starving state. To avoid this, it's recommended to create a farm.

You Will Need Seeds When Creating A Farm

berry seeds

To create various farms at your base, including Berry farms, you will need seed items. Berries can be easily cultivated even in the early stages, as seeds are obtained along with the harvest.

You Will Need Pals With Suitable Working Traits For Base Farming

If you want to produce food in the farm base, assign Pals with suitable work affinities for seeding, watering, and harvesting respectively. In addition, Pals that can gather will automatically carry food to the feed box while Pals with kindling will automatically perform cooking tasks.
