Get The Pal Sphere

The Pal Sphere is essential to capturing Pals. When you first start the game, you can craft them at a Primitive Workbench once you reach Level 2.

Steps To Create A Pal Sphere

Throw Pal Sphere At Pals

Pal Spheres can be thrown with the "Q" key on a keyboard and the "RB" or "R1" button on the controller. Hold the button and carefully aim at the Pal, then throw it to capture it.

Check The Capture Rate Before You Throw

To check the Capture Rate, target the Pal while holding the button to throw the Pal Sphere. It is recommended to check the Capture Rate before you throw since you can cancel it if it's too low.

Use A Sphere Launcher To Capture Pals

The Sphere Launcher allows you to capture Pals at greater distances, as well as fire multiple Pal Spheres at once. This allows you to capture Pals safely and without being detected. You can also capture multiple Pals at once.

How To Increase Capture Rate

The best way to increase the capture rate in Palworld is to increase the capture rate multiplier in the world settings and use a high grade Pal Sphere to catch them. You can sometimes fail if you use a low grade Pal Sphere, but a high grade Pal Sphere has better chances, making it easier to catch Pals.

Increase The Capture Rate In The World's Settings

1		Change the world settings in World Selection
2		Set the difficulty level to Custom and open the custom settings. Double the Capture Rate multiplier

The Capture Rate Multiplier of Pals can be increased up to 2 by going to "World Settings" then to "Custom Settings". This simply doubles the capture rate, so you should change this setting if you don't have any specific reason not to.

Use High Grade Pal Spheres

Using a high grade Pal Sphere not only increases the Capture Rate, but it also allows the capture of stronger Pals, which lower grade Pal Spheres cannot do. High grade Pal Spheres are unlocked as the player levels up.

Reduce Pal's HP While Equipping Ring of Mercy

While equipped, your attack will not bring the enemies' HP to zero no matter how much damage you do. This is very useful if you're trying to capture Pals much weaker than you and can prevent your attacks from accidentally defeating a Pal.

Weaken The Pal Before Capturing It

Weakening the Pal through the above methods will increase the capture rate. Of these methods, it is easiest to catch them after reducing their HP so using the Ring of Mercy is the first thing you should do. But if you still cannot catch them, then you can try inflicting some negative status on them or use traps.

Capture The Pal From Behind Without Being Noticed

Capturing Pals from behind increases the capture rate and capturing them without being noticed increases the capture rate as well. If you want to capture Pals without weakening them, throw Pal Spheres from behind without them noticing you.

Statue of Power Can Increase Capture Power

The capture rate can be increased by using the Statue of Power that can be built at the base. If you want to increase the capture rate as much as possible, you should give priority to this feature.

Boss & Human Capture

Bosses Can Be Captured

Pals that are bosses, such as bosses you find on the field and dungeon bosses, can be captured in the same way. However, Tower Bosses cannot be captured.

Lucky Pals Have A Low Capture Rate

Lucky Pals, which appear in the field at a low rate, can also be captured. They are stronger than regular Pals, and the capture rate is considerably lower, so be careful when capturing them.

Humans Can Also Be Captured

Rayne Syndicate, Free Pal Alliance, Wandering Merchant, Black Marketeers, and other NPCs who are humans can also be captured. The capture rate is one of the lowest, so be sure to prepare more Pal Spheres when capturing them.
