How To Approach Nightmare Ray

It's a very wide tracking beam which inflicts massive damage when hit so you must be very careful. When Bellanoir warps it will attack soon after with this skill, so once you see it warp, stop attacking and switch Pals to a fast ride mount.

How to Start the Raid Battle

Summon In Area Suit For Battle

It's best to create a base for the Raid Battle in an open area with a flat surface. The Raid Boss can destroy your buildings using wide range attacks so DO NOT summon the boss in your main base.

Build The Palbox Directly On The Ground

If you put the Palbox on a foundation, it can both get destroyed if the boss destroys the foundation beneath it. This will make you lose the battle so make sure you place the Palbox directly on the ground.

Watch For AoE Attacks

The Raid Boss uses powerful wide-range attacks so having Pals with low defense won't give you much of a chance to win. Don't stay close to your Pal so the boss can't attack you both. Use Pal Souls and the Pal Essence Condenser to increase your Pal's defense.

Boss Goes Down For A Moment With 10,000 Damage

Every time you deal about 10,000 damage to the boss, it will go down for a moment giving you a chance to attack. This also gives you a chance to replace any downed Pals in your base so keep an eye on the HP bar.

Change World Settings If You Can't Win

If you can't win you can change the "Damage from Player" and "Damage to Pal" multiplier to 5 to make it easier. This will make the battle a lot easier compared to the default setting so consider this as a last resort.

Chillet	Stronghold Strategist Vanguard Burly Body Legend

Have 4 Gobfins to increase the player's damage output and include a Chillet that applies Dragon type to the player attacks. Catch Gobfins at Gobfin's Turf and use the condenser to upgrade your Chillet to 4 stars.

Also Good Against Bellanoir Libero

They are also good against the tougher Bellanoir Libero. Gobfin is expected to be great against future Raid Bosses as well, so it's best to have the ready by breeding them with the best Passive Skills and condense them to 4 stars.

Bellanoir can be defeated with your party Pals alone but if you also want strong base Pals to join the fight, we recommend the Dark type Astegon. It will also be great for the fight against Bellanoir Libero so it's worth considering having 15 of them, which is the maximum you can spawn in your base.

Use High Rarity Equipment

Equipment crafted using schematics are far more powerful than the ones from the Technology Tree so use equipment with the highest rarity that you have. Legendary Schematics (+4) are very rare so you can also use lower tier ones (1-3) if you don't have it.

Food With Buffs

Also use food that gives your buffs (increases stats). It will increase the player's attack and defense for a period of time and also works with Pals.

How To Capture Bellanoir And Rewards

Hatch Reward Egg

If you hatch the egg you get as a reward for defeating the boss, you can obtain the Raid Boss as your own Pal. It looks like any other egg, so remember to put it in an incubator once you get it.

Impossible To Catch Using Pal Sphere

You cannot capture Raid Bosses using Pal Spheres. Even if its HP is low it won't work against them.

Rewards

All players that fought will obtain rewards. However you won't get any rewards if you let the other players do all the damage so make sure you join in the fight.

Receive Bellanoir Egg As A Reward

As a reward, you can get the Bellanoir Egg and hatch it. It looks like a normal Huge Dark Egg so don't forget to put it in the incubator as soon as you get it.

Can Not Be Caught With Pal Sphere

Pal Spheres are not effective against Raid Bosses and you can not catch it. Even if you weaken it in battle, throwing a Sphere will not work.
