What Causes Pal Stress?
Caused By Pals Having Low SAN Levels
When Pal's SAN value drops while in the base, the Pal's status will change and show signs of stress. A notification will be displayed when the SAN value drops to around 40, and it comes with various disadvantages, so it's advisable to promptly restore the SAN value when it stops dropping.

How To Cure & Prevent Stress
Restore Pal SAN To Fix
You can cure stressed Pals by recovering their SAN. It is highly recommended to place a Pal Bed for each Pal and a Hot Spring facility where they can recover their SAN during work. You can also return them in the Palbox when you want them to recover urgently.

Place Food In The Feed Box To Automate Meals
The recommended ingredients to put in the Feed Box are those that can replenish SAN values. Many ingredients such as berries cannot restore SAN values as they are, but cooking them allows for the recovery of SAN values. Make sure to prepare a Campfire, Cooking Pot or Electric Kitchen for cooking.
Best Food For PalsDo Not Overuse Super Hard Working Mode
Once you've built the Monitoring Stand, you can adjust how your Pals work. You can set it to Super Hard Working but it greatly consumes Sanity and Hunger. It will increase movement speed and work speed but your Pals will get stressed. If the majority of Pals are low on Sanity, you can set it to Normal so they can recover.

Stress Effects And Disadvantages
Stressed Pals Tend To Skip Work Or Slack Around
When the base Pals SAN starts to drop they will begin to feel distressed, some may even start slacking off or will not do any task. When they start to slack off, they won't do any work at all, so try raising their SAN to maintain the work efficiency at the base.
The Incidence Rate Of Illness And Injury Increases
When a Pal is feeling stressed, the rate of illness and injury also increases. In some cases, medicines are necessary for recovery. Since it's often not possible to resolve the issue immediately, it's important to address the decrease in SAN value from the start to prevent Pals from getting illness and injuries.
