Recommended Location And Respawn Condition
Ore Map Tool
Map Tool includes the location of Ore, Coal, Sulfur, and Pure Quartz. The number shows how many ores are in the area.
Ore Respawn Time Is 35 min
Ore will respawn after 35 min in-game. This respawn time is the default setting, and can be reduced to 3 min if you change the settings.
How To Change SettingsHow To Increase The Respawn Time
- Select Start Game then choose a world
- Select Change World Setting at the bottom of the screen
- Open custom setting
- Set difficulty to custom then set time speed to 5.
- Change gatherable objects respawn interval to 0.5
Set Day And Night Time Speed To 5
From the World Settings, you can change the time speed for both day and night up to 5 times faster.
Change Gatherable Objects Respawn Interval To 0.5
By also minimizing the Gatherable Objects Respawn Interval, the respawn time will go down to about 3 min. If you want to make it even more efficient, also increase the Gatherable Items Multiplier and Gatherable Objects Health Multiplier.

Craft Digtoise's Headband which can be unlocked at Lv 19 to make mining Ore with Digtoise very easy and effective. Summon Digtoise towards the ore to mine automatically. Make sure to craft the Headband before mining ores as it will greatly increase efficiency.

Have Digtoise In Team
Digtoise's Headband only works if it is in your team, so Digtoise is not suitable for farming at the base. Having Digtoise in the team is the most effective way to mine.
Refined Metal Pickaxe Is Good Alternative
If you are mining by yourself, using a pickaxe is recommended. Having Refined Metal Pickaxe will greatly increase mining speed. If you do not have a Refined Pickaxe, use other types of pickaxes to mine.

There Is An Alternative Way Of Mining Using Spear
Mining using a spear requires some getting used to, but it is also an effective way. Repeat attack and crouch to greatly increase the mining speed.

Ore Not Respawning
Buildings Will Prevent Ore From Spawning
If you place any structures such as foundations and furniture at a spot where Ore spawns, it will stop it from respawning. If you have an area you want to mine, be careful not to build anything above any spots where you can find Ore.
Can Also Be A Useful Mechanic
If you want to change the view or get rid of trees and rocks that might get in the way, build something on top of it to prevent it from spawning again.
