The Fastest Glider Is Galeclaw

The fastest Pal glider is Galeclaw. Its initial gliding speed is quite fast, making it useful for short-distance travel and evasion during combat. However, it is not well-suited for long-distance travel, so in such cases, use another flying Pal mount.

You Can Shoot And Throw Attacks While Gliding

Galeclaw's strength in combat lies in its unique ability among all Pals to use ranged weapons such as crossbows, guns, and launchers, as well as various grenades, while gliding. This ability enables evading attacks while gliding and immediately launching counterattacks, making it extremely powerful.

High-Speed Movement Is Also Possible With Reload Canceling

Reloading the gun while gliding cancels the gliding motion. Galeclaw's fast initial gliding speed allows for high-speed movement by repeatedly gliding and reloading.

Celaray Is Recommended In The Early Stages

The recommended Pal Glider in the early game is Celaray. In addition to the ease of obtaining Pal and crafting its gloves, Celaray allows for faster and longer-distance travel than the Giga Glider, which is the best performing glider equipment.

How To Use Pal Gliders

It's Useful For Frequent Short-Distance Movements

Since gliding does not require summoning a Pal, using the Glider is faster than riding for short-distance travel. Gliders are convenient for moving within bases, between Lumbering and Mining points, and similar short-distance travels.

Passives Such As Swift That Increase Movement Speed Do Not Apply

Passives that increase movement speed, such as Swift or Runner, do not activate for Pal Gliders. Therefore, if you want to quickly cover long distances, it's better to use Pals for riding.

Galeclaw Is Useful As A Means Of Evasion During Combat

When using Galeclaw, you can use its fast initial gliding speed to operate it as a means of evasion. It's more effective than evasion through rolling due to its greater speed and longer distance of movement, making it useful for avoiding attacks with homing capabilities.

Fast Movement With Grappling Gun

The acceleration from the Grappling Gun movement can be utilized to transition into gliding. By using this, it's possible to quickly cover considerable distances even on flat ground areas.

Avoiding Damage When Jumping From High Places

By deploying the glider just before reaching the ground when moving from a high place to a lower one, you can avoid fall damage.

You Can Just Remount Riding Pal

When you want to descend from a high place to the ground with a flying Pal, dismount from the Pal and immediately remount to maintain the falling speed and safely descend to the ground. Use this method as it's faster than descending while riding the Pal.

How To Use Glider

Pressing Jump While In Mid-Air Causes It To Trigger

When you're away from the ground, pressing the Space key (or A, × button) allows you to activate the Glider. While gliding, you can change the direction of movement by using the directional keys. Note that to glide, you need to have a mountable Pal that can be equipped with gliders and glove equipment. Take note that you will need them unlocked first and added in your inventory.
