Carrying Capacity - How To Deal With Being Weighed Down?
Drop Or Discard Items That Are Not Needed
If your inventory is full, open your inventory and sort out unnecessary items. Choose Drop or Discard in your inventory to lower the weight below your carrying capacity and you will return to your normal activities.
Number Of Items Selected Can Be Adjusted
When choosing items to discard or drop, you can select one item at a time or half of the total number of the item. On a PC, [Shift + Left Click] selects half of the item's inventory while [Ctrl + Left Click] selects one item at a time. On a controller, you can select only half of an item by pressing the X button.
Note That Items Disappear When Discarded
If you select Discard, the item will disappear. if you plan to pick up the item again, choose Drop instead.
Capture A Pal To Increase Weight
Some Pals increase the player's weight when caught. Check the partner skill and take a Pal with the effect of increasing weight. Cattiva is recommended in the beginning of the game.

The maximum carrying weight can be increased by leveling up a Status. Since the Weight Status can be increased by 50 per point, it is recommended to prioritize this at the start of the game.

What Happens When You Are Weighed Down?
Movement Speed Is Reduced
When you bring more than your carrying capacity, your movement speed is slowed. The more weight over the carrying capacity, the slower you will be. Note that when you are fully over your carrying capacity will result in very slow mobility.
Actions Including Jumping Cannot Be Done
If you are above carrying capacity, you will not be able to dash, jump, or climb cliffs. Since this greatly restricts movement, it is advisable to open the weight to a certain extent when going out into the field.
