The Straw Pal Bed serves as the sleeping quarters for base Pals and has the effect of restoring SAN (sanity) points by sleeping during the night. Generally, Base Pals collectively go to sleep at night, so it is necessary to build Pals' beds in the base according to the number of Pals present.

Human beds like 'Shoddy Bed' require a floor to be built, but Pal Beds can be placed directly on the ground, and there's no need for a roof either. As long as there are no obstacles, they can be placed anywhere, so there's no need to construct a floor.
Pals Can Recover SAN When Built
If a Pal Bed is installed within the base, Pals' SAN points will recover even without them sleeping in it. Installing Pal Beds in areas inaccessible to Pals ensures they sleep at the workplace, minimizing the risk of slacking or moving to the bed during work that affects their efficiency.
