How To Get Rid Of Wanted Status

By Dying
You will lose the Wanted Status once you die. You don't need to have the PIDF guards defeat you. The quickest way is to choose "Respawn" from the Options menu.
Death Penalty Settings & Options
Dying Near A Fast Travel Point
Depending on your settings, you may drop all your items where you died. But if you die right near a Fast Travel point, it will be easy to collect all the items you dropped.
You Can Also Change The Death Penalty
You can change the Death Penalty from the World Settings. Change it to No Drops and you won't have to worry about losing your items when you die.
Defeat All PIDF Guards
You can get rid of the Wanted status if you defeat all the PIDF Guards that spawn. But you will be wanted for Assualt if you attack them yourself, causing more guards to appear. Use your Pals to attack them to avoid that.
Let That Pals At Your Base Defeat Them
If you use your Pals you brought with you to fight them, only one can fight at a time. But if you warp to your base, all the Pals at your base will attack them.
Don't Let Them See You
The PIDF guards only attack you when they are in your sight. If you are having your Pals attack them, keep them out of your sight to avoid being attacked.
Fly High Up
If you have a flying Pal that you can ride, you can also just fly up. They can't chase you up into the sky, so you'll just need to wait for a while in the sky. But you'll need to be very high up for this to work, so move somewhere high up first, then fly up from there to save time.
Go Back To Title Screen
You can also get rid of the Wanted status by going back to the title screen. The game will save automatically when you go back to the title screen, so you can go back to where you left off right away.
How You Get Wanted
Attack a Friendly NPC
If you attack a friendly NPC, you will be Wanted for Assault. Be careful not to attack any NPCs.
Pals Attacks And Spheres Won't Get You Wanted
Throwing Spheres at NPCs and attacking them using Pals won't get you Wanted. But they will start attacking you so be careful when doing so.
Go To Wildlife Sanctuary
Going into the Wildlife Sanctuary will be considered Criminal Activity and you will be Wanted if any guards see you. But it is worth going to since there are many rare Pals there.
Wildlife Sanctuary Location
There are 3 locations in total. You need to cross the ocean to get there so you will need to ride a Pal that can Fly or Swim over the sea.
