Scavenger For Ammo Restock
The Kar98k only comes with 15 ammo by default. Having the Scavenger Perk allows you to pick up ammo from fallen enemies, sustaining you throughout the whole fight.
Overkill For Another Primary
While the Kar98k can kill with just one-shot, the reload cycle is excruciatingly slow. This leaves you very open after every fire, so use Overkill to carry another SMG or AR to compensate.
Tracker Or Amped Up?
Tracker reveals enemy footprints, giving you info and helping you decide if you should flee or fight. You can change this perk to Amped Up for a more aggressive play as you can quickly swap out your primaries in mere seconds.

Uses 4.0x Flip Scope

MMR With Decent Mobility
This attachment setup boosts the Kar98k's mobility, giving you more speed when moving around. Take advantage of this and keep on moving and firing to mask your position.
Get A Decent Secondary
The main weakness of the Kar98k is its reload speed. It takes too long to cycle a shot and it can be very punishing if you missed. Use Overkill Perk so you can carry a decent CQC Primary as your Secondary to support the Kar98k
