What Are Starborn Powers?

Special Abilities

Starborn Powers are special character abilities that are powerful and unique which you can acquire as you progress through the game. They can be a game-changer in battles when you used strategically with your Skills and Weapons during combat.

Hinted At The End Of The Starfield Direct

Starborn Power Hinted At The Starfield Direct

The introduction to Starborn Powers was initially teased during the preview of the Starfield Direct gameplay video, appearing as a glimpse of what could be the the Anti-Gravity Field. Multiple attacking enemies were show to have stopped as they levitate above the ground for a short period of time before slowly easing at the ground, creating an opportunity to attack momentarily.

Different From Skills

Starborn Powers are different from Skills although both gives a certain advantage. Once unlocked, there's no need to upgrade it with Skill Points. Instead, you will need to consume a specific amount of Power depending on the Starborn Power you would like to activate.

Starborn Powers Can Be Replaced In The Data Menu

You will get Starborn Powers as you progress in the game, with Anti-Gravity Field as the first power that you'll unlock from the quests. You can change the assigned Starborn Power in the Data Menu in the Powers Tab that is just above your character once it is available.

How To Unlock Starborn Powers

Get First Starborn Power In Into The Unknown Quest

Starborn Powers can be obtained from doing the Into The Unknown Quest which is started by talking to Vladimir Sall who is located in The Eye space station at the Alpha Centauri system.
