Register For The Vanguard
The initial step in becoming a part of the Vanguard is to complete your registration at any of the terminals located within the Orientation Hall at MAST.

Make sure that you pay any outstanding bounties you may have, as they will be reflected in both the system records and your Enlistment Agreement. Failure to do so could potentially impact the approval of your application to join the Vanguards.
Explore The Orientation Hall
Explore the orientation hall located within MAST and engage with the interactive buttons designed to activate the immersive audiovisual narratives, providing a captivating glimpse into the rich historical legacy of the Vanguards.
Proceed To The Vanguard Exam
The Vanguard Exam Is held in the Piloting Simulator which can be accessed from the Elevator at the end of the Orientation Hall museum.
Enter The Piloting Simulator
Head up the stairs and proceed to Enter Simulation. The Vanguard Piloting Exam starts once you take on the Pilot seat, with an Exam Proctor providing guidance on the objectives through a transmission.
Prepare For Your Next Target
You will need to defeat the Simulated Ships in a Space Battle simulation. At the beginning, you must defeat a single simulated ship, which will be followed by successive battles where you'll need to contend with two ships simultaneously.
Record Your Score By Exiting The Simulation
This choice becomes accessible once you reach Tier III, requiring you to overcome 6 Enemy Tiers. Your present passing score will be logged in the system, but any advancements made in the simulator will be reset.
Speak To Commander Tuala
Return to the lobby and engage in conversation with Commander Tuala, who stands behind the reception desk. At that point, you'll be presented with the opportunity to obtain citizenship if you decide to commit to ten years of dedicated service to the Vanguards.
Follow Commander Tuala
Follow Commander Tuala outside and pledge your allegiance to the Vanguard. Additionally, you will also receive your probationary mission, Grunt Work.
