Persuade Jules To Do A High-Budget Ship

Persuade Jules for larger budget

Head to the Stroud-Eklund Staryard and find Jules, the lead designer. Persuade her to convince the board to increase the budget, allowing you to acquire the C-Class Kepler R Ship later on.

A smaller budget will help us focus the design.Kepler S
We can build whatever we want with a larger budget.Kepler R

The Kepler S has a simpler design and requires fewer Piloting skill points, while the Kepler R is superior in every aspect, with a massive cargo hold and plenty of fuel. Therefore, we recommend choosing the Kepler R.

Adding Skill Points To Persuasion & Save Before The Dialogue

To increase the chances of persuading Jules, allocating Skill Points to Persuasion is recommended. In case you fail, you will be required to pay 100,000 Credits of your own money. It is advisable to save your progress before attempting.

Complete A Bounty (or Passenger) Mission

Bounty mission on mission board

To gather market data, you will be required to complete either a Bounty or a Passenger mission. The mission board is located just outside the room. You can opt for either mission type, but even completing a single Bounty mission will suffice for building a more focused ship.

Give Feedback On The Team's Proposal

Feedback on the design proposal

Talk to the ship design team and select the most positive options to respond to their proposals. When Jules tells you that they need to come to an agreement, suggest that the fairest approach would be to ask everyone to give up one compromise.

Talk To Walter To Get Your New Ship

Collect your new ship

Inform Walter Stroud at The Lodge that his new ship project is back on track. You will be allowed to collect one ship at the Staryard.
