Take Barrett To Gagarin

After you finish the Barrett doppelgänger mission, you will activate a conversation about Barrett's deceased spouse, Ervin. He would like you to take him to Gagarin Landing, on Gagarin, in the Alpha Centauri system.

Many Steps, But No Specific Order

In this mission, there are many steps that you will need to complete, but with the choices that you make you will not have to do them in a specific order.

Speak To Barrett And Speak To Lawyer

Speak to Barrett and Ellie Yankton, the Lawyer and re-open Ervin's case. You will need to look for evidence through the Gagarin apartment so be ready for the steps and signs of small evidence.

Find Ervin's Apartment

Easiest location to start is by going to Ervin's apartment. The apartment will first be locked, but if you speak to Barrett, who is following you, he will give you the key.

Enter Apartment And Search For Evidence

Enter the apartment and start searching for evidence. The quest marker will be added on each evidence so it should be simple to find.

Digipick Needed To Unlock Computer

To open the safe, you will need to unlock it with the computer. But then you will need a Digipick to unlock the computer information so have that ready.

Use Foundry Terminal

One of the steps is to head to the Foundry Terminal and find information from the computer. You can get information from your account, but you may need more access.

Get Passcode From Employee

If you were not able to get the information you want from the terminal, ask the nearest employee to give you his passcode. You can either Persuade him or pay him Credits. It is recommended to Persuade him, but you will have a second choice of paying him if you failed the persuasion process.

Go To Town Hall

Head to the Town Hall so you can get details from there as well. You don't have to sneak around, so go straight ahead and get what you need.

Deliver All Evidence To Lawyer

After gathering all the evidence, bring them over to Ellie, the Lawyer. You can do this

Head To Hephaestus Mine

Prepare Ammo And Aids

When you enter the Mine, you will encounter several Juvenile, Adult Pests as well as a Queen Pest. They are pretty fast so if you are not good at aiming, you might want to gather lots of ammo and aids before heading to the Mine.

Good For Gathering XP

Defeating these pests will allow you to gather XP so this might be a great chance to increase your XP as well as practicing your shooting skills.

There has been reports of people not being able to access the door when inside the Mine.

Bring Evidence To Ellie

After you have gathered all the evidence from the Mine, head to Ellie again, the Lawyer. She will ask you to find the witness for the court case, Helgi.

The best way to find Helgi is by asking around the neighborhood. You can persuade some members and get the correct answer out of them.

Distract Chief Dalitso Pretorius

Need Digipick And Stealth

If you are given the step of hacking into Dalitso's computer, you will need a Digipick and Stealth skill. Either you can distract her or if you fail then you will need to hack into the computer yourself.

Convince Helgi To Testify

Helgi can not be found in this room. He is actually in the lower floor of the Town Hall in the center of Gagarin Landing. You will have to persuade him to testify in the court case. It might be recommended to skill up your Diplomacy and Manipulation so you have more persuasion options.

Speak With Ellie And Barrett

Unlock Romance Feature

After you speak to Ellie, you will have a chance to either have [Friendship] or [Romance] with Barrett. If you choose to continue "Flirting" with Barrett then you will unlock the Romance feature.

Finishing The Mission Makes Barrett Dismissable

When you complete the mission, Barrett will give you the rewards for the mission as well as he will become Dismissable.
