User Interface

StarUI Inventory
Makes it a lot easier to browse through your inventory.


The messages and Bethesda logo won't appear when you launch the game.


Displays HUD lower down on the screen than vanilla.



Achievement Enabler

This will enable achievements when the game disables them due to some mods being installed.
Less Spongy Enemies
Balances (lowers) HP of high level enemies.
Starfield FOV
Adjusts FOV for a wider view for both first person and third person.
Easy Digipick
Allows you to ignore the lockpicking puzzles.
Easy Speech
Increases the chance to succeed with persuasion to 100%.


Starfield Performance Optimizations
Allows graphics optimization for higher fps
Neutral LUTs
Removes color filters, making the colors look more natural.
Starfield Upscaler
Enables Nvidia DLSS and Intel XeSS graphics technology.
Smooth Ship Reticle
Increases fps for spaceship HUD.

Xbox and Consoles

Unfortunately Xbox currently does not support mods for Starfield. Wait for updates regarding official mods for consoles.

Risks Of Installing Mods

Install At Your Own Risk

There is always a risk of breaking your game when installing mods. Please install mods at your own risk. We also strongly recommend creating a backup for your game files.

Creating A Backup

Open Steam and right click on Starfield. Go to the Manage tab and click "Browse local files". Copy all files to a new separate folder to keep as a backup. You can also open the Starfield folder directl. Most players will find the folder here: Username/Documents/My Games/Starfield

How To Install Mods

Use A Mod Manager Tool

Visit the Nexus Mods website and create a Nexus account. Log in to your account and install Vortex from the Nexus Mods website . After successfully installing and opening Vortex, you will see a link on the right that allows you to install the Starfield extension. Click on it to install the extension. Go to the Games tab on the left and search for Starfield. Click on Starfield to add it to your "managed" games.

Install Mods Manually

You can also manually install mods. Choose "Manual Download" and move the file to your Starfields folder.

Many mods have specific requirements. Be sure to read the instructions for each mod you are about to install.
