Since you are already inside The Eye, once you've completed Short Sighted, you can easily talk to Vladimir Sall to start the No Sudden Moves quest. He will instruct you to retrieve an Artifact from Captain Petrov in the Scow.
The Scow Is Located At Procyon
Map | Location |
---|---|
The Scow can be located in the Procyon A System orbiting the Planet Procyon V-B.
How To Board The Scow
You can choose to Attack or Persuade The Scow during the outbound transmissions. It is recommended to try to Persuade him first and use attacking as a last resort.
Talk Your Way In
Persuasion should be easy since you only need to get 4 Persuasion bars within 3 Turns.
Persuasion - Rank Up Challenge & EffectDisable The Engines
If you prefer this option, then you need to prepare to attack The Scow until you have disabled its engines. You will need Targeting Control Systems or EM Weapon Systems to disable it and board it safely.

Talk To Captain Petrov
You will need to either Persuade or let Barret talk to him to let you in the Vault where the Artifact is located. However if you choose to attack first, everyone on the ship will become hostile and you will be a Wanted Criminal if you kill Captain Petrov or any of his guards. You won't be able to find the Artifact easily if you don't get the key and its location, so its better to get to the Vault first.
Follow Petrov And Steal The Artifact
Just follow Captain Petrov and he will take you to the Vault. Once he is inside and shows you the Artifact, you can offer to Pay for it, tell him it has power that he doesn't deserve or Attack him. Either way he will call his guards and you will get a 500 Bounty for stealing the Artifact.
Access Petrov's Vault
Other Ways To Get The Artifact
Find Erin September and pay 1,000 Credits for information. Raptor will also pipe in the dialogue midway and you can hire them both for 2,500 Credits to help you get out later.
Option | Procedure |
---|---|
Pickpocket The Key To The Vault | Pickpocket the Captain from behind to get Petrov's Vault Key. |
Release The Zoo Aliens | Access the Zoo Control and open the doors. Release the Aliens to distract and attack the Scow Crew. |
Find The Thin Walls | |
Use A Cutter On The Four Bolts | |
Find The Wall Behind The Vault | |
Pick The Vault Door Lock |
Steal Artifact Phi
Once you got inside the Vault, open the display case and take the Artifact Phi. Take note that you will also receive a 500 Bounty to the United Colonies.
Leave The Scow And Head Back To The Lodge
After getting the Artifact get out of The Scow and board your ship to get back to The Lodge. You will complete the mission once you have placed the Artifact to the rest of the collection. This will also start the High Price To Pay Constellation Mission.
