You Can Start No Sudden Moves After Clearing Short Sighted

Starfield No Sudden Moves

Since you are already inside The Eye, once you've completed Short Sighted, you can easily talk to Vladimir Sall to start the No Sudden Moves quest. He will instruct you to retrieve an Artifact from Captain Petrov in the Scow.

The Scow Is Located At Procyon

The Scow can be located in the Procyon A System orbiting the Planet Procyon V-B.

How To Board The Scow

Starfield No Sudden Moves The Scow Starship

You can choose to Attack or Persuade The Scow during the outbound transmissions. It is recommended to try to Persuade him first and use attacking as a last resort.

Talk Your Way In

Starfield No Sudden Moves Persuade The Scow

Persuasion should be easy since you only need to get 4 Persuasion bars within 3 Turns.

Disable The Engines

If you prefer this option, then you need to prepare to attack The Scow until you have disabled its engines. You will need Targeting Control Systems or EM Weapon Systems to disable it and board it safely.

How To Find Captain Petrov

Starfield No Sudden Moves Persuade The Scow
When you board the ship, you will encounter Tao Xun near the entrance and you can ask him more about this "Special Rock" that Captain Pertrov has recently acquired.

Starfield No Sudden Moves  Turn Left On The Security Office
Proceed forward the hallway until you reach a door. Once it opens up, you will notice the Security Office in front. Turn left and follow the hallway leading up to the stairs.

Starfield No Sudden Moves  Follow Cables
If you pay attention to the floor, you can see the orange cables. You can use it as a guide so you won't get lost in the area.

You will come across these two guards at the entrance of the hallway. Enter it and you will come across another patrolling guard.

There's a door with white stripes around the corner of the left side. Head there then turn right then you'll come across a large open area full of peculiar statues.

You can see Captain Petrov lounging at the far end.

Talk To Captain Petrov

Starfield No Sudden Moves Talk To Captain Petrov

You will need to either Persuade or let Barret talk to him to let you in the Vault where the Artifact is located. However if you choose to attack first, everyone on the ship will become hostile and you will be a Wanted Criminal if you kill Captain Petrov or any of his guards. You won't be able to find the Artifact easily if you don't get the key and its location, so its better to get to the Vault first.

Follow Petrov And Steal The Artifact

Just follow Captain Petrov and he will take you to the Vault. Once he is inside and shows you the Artifact, you can offer to Pay for it, tell him it has power that he doesn't deserve or Attack him. Either way he will call his guards and you will get a 500 Bounty for stealing the Artifact.

Starfield No Sudden Moves Find Erin September 21:15

Find Erin September and pay 1,000 Credits for information. Raptor will also pipe in the dialogue midway and you can hire them both for 2,500 Credits to help you get out later.

Release The Zoo Aliens Access the Zoo Control and open the doors.
Release the Aliens to distract and attack the Scow Crew.
Find The Thin Walls

Find the Emergency Cuttable Wall.
Use A Cutter On The Four Bolts

Use the Cutter on the Bolts at the corner of the door.
Find The Wall Behind The Vault
Starfield No Sudden Moves Find The Wall Behind The Vault
Find another Emergency Cuttable Wall and use the Cutter again on the Bolts at the corner of the door to open it.
Pick The Vault Door Lock
Starfield No Sudden Moves Locpick Vault
You can try to Digipick the Vault, however you need a certain level of mastery in Lockpicking to do so.

Steal Artifact Phi

Starfield No Sudden Moves Artifact Phi

Once you got inside the Vault, open the display case and take the Artifact Phi. Take note that you will also receive a 500 Bounty to the United Colonies.

Leave The Scow And Head Back To The Lodge

After getting the Artifact get out of The Scow and board your ship to get back to The Lodge. You will complete the mission once you have placed the Artifact to the rest of the collection. This will also start the High Price To Pay Constellation Mission.
