Open the Character Inventory Screen.
Choose Ship Cargo.

You can only access the Cargo Hold menu when you are near the ship. This means you won't be able to withdraw or deposit items in the Ship Storage unless your are inside the ship or within the vicinity.

There's Also A Weight Limit

The size of the cargo hold may vary based on the ship's design and storage capacity for items differ base on this. The ship available at the start holds up to 450 which you can later upgrade to increase your ship's inventory capacity in the Ship Builder.
