Complete The Overdesigned Mission
You can get the Kepler R ship by completing the Overdesigned mission. After you complete the Main mission Staborn.

| 1. | Talk to Walter Shroud at the Lodge. |
| 2. | Go to Stroud-Eklund Shipyard in the Narion System. |
| 3. | Talk to Jules. Choose the "Kitchen Sink" proposal and persuade Jules. |
| 4. | Talk to all the members to give them feedback. |
| 5. | Complete any mission(s) on the Mission Board. |
| 6. | Talk to Jules. Choose to ask for a compromise or try the team building. |
| 7. | Go back to the Lodge and talk to Walter. |
Save Before And After The Persuasion
You will need to successfully persuade Jules, so make sure to save your game before talking to her for the first time. You should also save after you persuade her in case you don't get the ship you want. If you get the Kepler S instead, load your save file and try other choices in the dialogue. Also, you don't necessarily have to do 2 missions from the Mission Board.
Reward Of The Mission
As a reward for completing the "Overdesigned" mission, you will receive the Kepler R ship. It is a well balanced C-Class ship with a large cargo while also good for both offense and defense.
You May Get Kepler S Instead
We Recommend Kepler R
You also have the option to get the smaller Kepler S ship instead if your Piloting Skill is under Rank 4, but we recommend the Kepler R since it is more capable. If you want to go for the Kepler S, choose the "smaller budget" option. Then you will have to persuade Frank. After that, the process is the same.
Kepler R - Stats & Features
A Great Cargo Ship You Can Get For Free
It's a cargo ship that comes with 3550 capacity. The advantage is that you can get it for free by completing the mission. It isn't the strongest in combat but should be enough for many situations. The only disadvantage is that it requires Rank 4 Piloting Skill since it is a C-Class ship.
