Starfield All that Money Can Buy Walter Stroud

Talk to Walkter Stroud sitting at the Library at The Lodge. He will ask you to join in the negotiations for purchasing an Artifact in Neon.

Neon is located in Volii Alpha in the Vollii System. Head inside until you reach the Terminal and ride the elevator, choose Stroud-Eklund Corporate HQ and talk to Oscar to complete the check-in objective. You will also get to talk to Issa Eklund afterwards.

Talk To The Seller At Newill's Goods

Starfield All that Money Can Buy James Newill location

Find James Newill in the Newill's Goods just outside of the HQ. Talk to him about Sieghart and he will tell you about him and his deals with the Neon Security.

Be Prepared To Pay Credits

Starfield All that Money Can Buy

Persuade James Newill to provide more information or pay 2,500 Credits. He then will give you the unit number of the Seller's Sleepcrate.

Get inside the Ebbside just located outside of Newill's Goods.

Proceed ahead, then make a right at the first turn and then turn right once more when you get in the open area to find the door.

You will need Digipicks to lockpick the door. It only requires Novice skill so you'll be able to open it in no time.

Get inside and open the computer console inside to complete the objective.

Where To Ask For Security Details

Procedure
1Head inside the Bayou Plaza.

Turn left at the first turn and head straight to the Trade Tower: Astral Lounge at the end of the corner.

Talk to Boone Morgan who is behind in the bar.

Inquire about security and he will offer you the Astral Lounge VIP package.
5 You can pay 4,000 Credits or Persuade Morgan to lower the price fee and 1,000 Credits instead. The objective will be cleared once you have gone through with the transaction.

Persuade Morgan

This will be easy if you have a trader Background like Diplomat or Industrialist that includes a persuasion starter skill. You can also get the Persuasion Skill and upgrade it. If your level is sufficiently high, you can attempt to Intimidate him by choosing the red dialogue option, but be aware that there's a risk it could backfire on you.

Override The Remote Door Controls

Get inside the Elevator and head towards the Vip Balcony. Head straight ahead pass the guard and then turn right. The computer console is just at the right-side of the doorway so you'll spot it easily. Make sure that you have enough Digipicks to unlock it. You'll clear the objective and gain XP from doing so.

Find Musgrove Near The Bar Station

The seller will have a large security case and will respons to the code phrase Ramsay and Travers. Help Walter Stroud closed the deal and get the Artifact.

Persuade To Slayton Agent Claiming The Stolen Artifact

After the Artifact Negotiations, a Slayton Agent will appear and claim the stolen artifact as Nicolaus Slayton's property. You can talk to him to avoid combat but he will warn you instead. A bounty will be placed in your head and your ship will be impounded instead afterwards.

Get To The Next Floor

Try persuading the receptionist Ryleigh in the service desk at the Slayton Aerospace HQ to get you in. Successfully persuading her will give you permission to use to the Executive Level Access Code otherwise you will need to find another way which is sneaking in through the elevators.

Other Way To Get The Access Code

No.Procedure
1Get the Access Code in the Security Room behind the company sign visible in the lobby.
2Head to the elevators located at the left side of the Security Room and go up the Executive Level.

How To Get Out Through The Vents Unnoticed

After being trapped in the Elevator by Slayton, you will all be rescued by Issa Eklund who managed to pay of one of Slayton's Security Consultants. You can follow her instructions or fight your way out to the Exit.

No.Procedure
1Use the Vent System on the left side of the Elevator you came out. Make sure to get unnoticed by the guards.
2Just keep going to the end once inside and go down the small opening in the vent.
3Climb to the vent at the end of the hallway
4Follow the path until you can find a hatch and open it. You will have to fight your way against to the exit from here.
5You will find the door at the Exit leading to the Trade Tower.

How To Fight Your Way To The Exit

The security will be on full alert if you get caught and you won't be able to sneak out now so you have to fight your way through the Slayton Security. Make sure to equip yourself and pick up weapons along the way.

Activate the Gate Control Switch to enter.

You can take time to loot the lockers and dead bodies then head to the Research Laboratory pass the Gate Control Room.

Head to the Door on the far right side of the Lab. Then turn left to find the back door once you've defeated the hostile Slayton Employees.

Nicolaus Slayton will let you decide the Artifact Thief's fate as part of a deal. You can choose to set him free, throw him in jail or kill him on the spot. These choices gives you different results although it is recommended to choose Jail option to increase affinity with your companions.
