Walkthrough Guide
Wait 24 Hours To Talk To Keoni
When you complete the False Positives mission, your next next is to wait 24 hours in-game time. You can kill time by sitting on a chair nearby or sleeping on a bed inside your ship.
Talk To Davis And Follow Him
After you speak with Keoni, you will speak to Davis again and he will ask you to help patrol again. Grab some ammo and aids before you head over so you are ready for combat.
Davis Doesn't Move Glitch
There has been reports where Davis does not move after you speak to him in this mission.
Ways To Fix Bug

Bugs & Glitches - Fixes And Patch Updates
Defeat The Ashta
Defeat the Ashta that pops up mid way through the patrol. It has a distance so a rifle might be recommended if you are not good with close range combat.
(Optional) Make Sure Davis Wildon Survives
You will have an optional step, to make sure Davis survives. If the Ashta doesn't attack you, then it will be very easy to complete this step.
Talk To Davis
Report to Davis when you defeat the Ashta. If you have ranked up your Zoology skill, you will have an additional dialogue option.

Talk To Keoni
Speak to Keoni and this will be the last of the Defensive Measure mission. She will thank you and give you rewards.
Legendary Rifle: Despondent Assassin
One of the rewards will be the Legendary Rifle: Despondent Assassin. Don't forget to grab it when you complete the mission.
