You Can Gain Credits By Completing Activities

Starfield consists of several different types of missions and some provide a good amount of credits when you complete them. Activities will be given to you when you pass by Citizens in the planet, speak to NPCs and finishing tutorials.

Activate them by selecting the Activity with the L button on the Inventory page and select your route.

Defeating Pirates

Skilled At Fighting? Root Pirates

If you are confident with your skills in combat, then jump into a fight with Pirates to defeat them so you can receive credits. The credits do appear at random so it is not guaranteed if you can receive a good amount, but you will eventually come upon fighting a pirate while completing missions so this is a great way to farm for money.

Selling Unnecessary Items

Create Space In Your Inventory While Gathering Credits

When you have too much in your inventory, you will not be able to Fast Travel to locations. A good way to get rid of things in your inventory is by selling them at shops.

You can sell weapons, spacesuits, resources, aids, but you can only sell them in certain locations so make sure you are entering the right store.
