New Game Plus Explained

A Game Mode Unlocked By Completing The Last Main Mission

New Game Plus is a game mode in Starfield that is unlocked after completing the final Main Mission "One Giant Leap". This game mode will enable you to carry over certain parts of your character such as levels and traits.

When starting the New Game Plus, you will be reborn in a new universe, "lose all your possessions and be unable to complete the unfinished missions.

If You Are Not Ready For The Ending

It's your final chance to decide whether to continue your journey. If you still have things to finish in this universe, walking back to your ship is still an option.

What Carries Over To New Game Plus?

What Are The Rewards?

Upgrades The Rewards Until 10th Time

Every time you complete the game you will receive the reward. The rewards will be upgraded every time you complete the main mission and it can stuck up to 10 times. The best reward is Star Guardian VI and Starborn Space Suite Ventor. We're still working on getting all the versions of Star Guardian and Starborn Spacesuits to collect specific data.

Starborn Guardian

Starborn Guardian is a spaceship you will get as a reward for progressing to New Game Plus (NG+). Every time you complete the game the stats of the spaceship increases.

Starborn Spacesuits

Starborn Spacesuit is a reward you get for completing the game. Just like Starborn Guardian, every completion of the game will upgrade the Spacesuits.

What Are The Differences?

Skip Missions

You will have the option to skip the majority of the main mission by talking to Vladimir and collecting all of the artifacts again instead of completing every single main mission. The flow of the mission will be mostly be same as the main mission "Among The Stars" from the normal game mode.

Level Up Starborn Power

When you visit the temple with the power you already have the power will level up increasing reducing the cost and strengthening the effect. The power can be leveled up to 10 at max.

Starborn Trader

Starborn Trader is a unique character that only appears after completing the main mission NG+. The location of Starborn Trader is random and initially, it will appear as "Mysterious Captain". Respond to the signal to start trading unique and high-tier items.

Select Starborn Dialogue

When you enter New Game Plus Mode you will be able to select special dialogue during the conversation Dialogue.
