Go To Altair System

The Groundpounder mission is all in the Altair System. You will be hopping planets but you will be in the same System.

Prepare Ammo And Aids

There will be lots of combat awaiting you in this mission. Before heading to the Altair planets, grab as much ammo and aids that you can to prepare yourself.

Land At Research Outpost U3-09 And Find Mahoney

When you land on Research Outpost U3-09, you will want to look for Private Mahoney. She will be in a closet after defeating the Spacers on the way. She will let you know to head to the Infirmary and speak to Lezama.

Clear Spacers And Talk To Lezama

After defeating the Spacers to the Infirmary, you will find Lezama and his buddy. Speak to him and he will give you the U3-09 Facility Keycard. This will open doors so don't forget to get it.

Find And Rescue Lieutenant Torres

Find and rescue Lieutenant Torres in the back. He is in combat with Spacers so help him out before trying to talk to him.

Receive U3-09 Security Keycard

He will also give you a keycard, this time an U3-09 Security Keycard. This will open doors heading to Captain Myeong's room.

Rescue Captain Myeong

Rescue Captain Myeong and speak to her. She will give you details about the attack at Research Camp on Altair II.

Take Ship To Research Camp On Altair II

Your next step is to head to the Research Camp on Altair II. Some locations are on the bottom of the planets so don't forget to rotate them if you can't find your destination.

Prepare Ammo And Aids

Again you will be in combat with several Spacers. If you have used up your ammo and aids, head over to your nearest town and gather as much ammo and aids as you need.

Talk With Survivors

Rescue the survivors inside the building. After you defeat all of the spacers outside and inside the buildings, you will be able to have a conversation with the Survivors inside. Report to Lieutenant Torres and then head to Space.

Defeat Spacers In Altair I And Altair V Orbit

You will now be in combat in space with your ship. Head to the orbits of Altair I and Altair V to defeat several spaceships. Don't forget to repair your ship after each planet battle so you don't have to re-battle them.

Ship Combat - Space Combat & Battle Spaceships

Land On Research Outpost

After you defeat the spaceships, head to the Research Outpost on Altair II. You will be in combat again so carry with you ammo and aids and be prepared.

Defeat Spacer Invasion

While in combat with the Spacers, they will appear inside and outside of the buildings. Don't miss out on any.

Quest Marker Won't Disappear Glitch

There have been reports where the quest marker doesn't disappear even after you have defeated the Spacers.

Talk To Lieutenant Torres

Report back to Lieutenant Torres and he will reward you for your efforts. One of them is the Peacekeeper weapon which is a Rare Rifle to keep.
