Talk To Dalton In Ryujin Industries

Starfield Background Checks Dalton Fiennes

Find Dalton Fiennes and talk to him. He will assign you a mission to infiltrate the Ryujin Towers as an anonymous outsider and run a program provided by Nyx on Ularu's computer. The Tower's ventilation system will be unlocked during that time and can be used to avoid detection. You will also get a Disruptor to avoid casualties.

Meet Nyx At Madame Sauvage's Place

You can Pay 2500 Credits or Persuade Nyx instead to lower it to 1000 Credits to get the program. Once acquired, you'll only need to run it on Ularu Chan's computer, and the program will handle the remaining tasks.

Find A Way Into Ryujin Tower

Pay Attention To The Detection Indicator

When sneaking in, make sure to pay attention to the above indicator of your detection. It will appear white when you are hidden and turn orange to caution you when you are near detection, and green when you get detected which will eventually turn red to danger if you stayed longer and the security will be on full alert by then.

Equip The Arboron Novablast Disruptor

It's optional, but you can use the Electromagnetic Rifle that Dalton has given you earlier.

Use Items To Increase Stealth

Make sure to gather items that will assist you in your stealth approach. For instance, items such as Reconstim can temporarily reduce your Movement Noise, potentially allowing you to move around the area without alerting security guards.

Hide In Shadows

As you sneak in the building, you can find safe and doors that are locked. You can forcefully open them using Digipicks so make sure to get plenty of them just in case.

Use Vents

It's a good idea to use vents to sneak past security. First, look around carefully to find any vents you can use. If you spot one, it's smart to go through it to get past security. This will help you avoid getting caught and improve your chances of completing the task.

Once you are inside the Ryujin Tower, head towards the opening at the ceiling leading to the vent. Turn left then jump down into the room from the vent.

As you exit the room, you'll find a guard standing at the end. Stay crouched and sneak quietly past the guard to their right, moving behind the column.

Once you've stealthily moved past the guard, you'll come across a door on your left. After that, head to the right to find another door that takes you to a room, and from there, you'll reach an open area where two guards are present, with one of them patrolling the area.

There's a door at the far end right corner just next to the room that leads to a stairs to the upper floor. You will come across a short hallway, head there and turn left to the room. There's a guard sitting just across which you can attack from a distance.

There's a cell room which is locked. You can use Digipicks to unlock them. Once inside, climb above the hatch located just above the white cabinet

Crouch straight into the vent and find the another Hatch. Drop down to the other room which seems like a Cafeteria. Turn left towards the Conference Room and then climb the short stairs towards the door at the far end.

Turn left and find the hatch to the vent next to the fan.

You will come across a hallway and some guards just aheac. So slowly go into the right direction going down. Where you will come across another vent at the right side which you can use to get unnoticed. You can turn on your light since its quite dark inside and also to find the hatch above.

This leads to an open area. Head to the left side towards the lab but be careful since there is a robot and a guard patrolling the area.

There's a vent at the top. Use the stair to get to it. Make sure not to get spotted by the nearby guard in the room just besides the stairs.

You will come across the hallway. Jump from the columns and the beams to get to the other side.

Time your jump into the other side when the guards are patrolling a different area. You can use Dalton's office area to hide from them or use the shadows to sneak past them.

There is a stairs that leads to the upper level. Head there sneakily and make sure you are not detected.

Once you reach the top, proceed to the left side were you will come upon another open area. There's only one guard in the area which you can easily kill.

After defeating the guard, you can head straight to Ularu's Office located at the left.

Run Nyx's Program On Ularu's Computer

Ularu's Computer is located just a floor above the room where you talked Dalton earlier. You can use the nearby stairs to get on the upper floor. There's only once security guard in the area which you can take down with a sneak attack from the shadows. Then head to Ularu's office at the left, access the computer and run the program.

There's A Vent Inside Ularu's Office

Use the opening in the ceiling in Ularu's Office. You can jump up over the drawer and into the vent, then go to an exit door leading to Neon. After you're outside, hop down and make use of the nearby platforms to land safely.

Meet Nyx At His Apartment

Head down the stairs that you have used to find way into Ryujin Tower earlier, there's a path at the left side. Head there then turn left at the end corner and head straight past the large Cargo 06 sign. There's another set of stairs hidden in the dark at the left side that lead's to Nyx's apartment door.

Report Back To Dalton

Starfield Background Checks Talk To Dalton

Head back to Ryujin Tower and give the data to Dalton. He will run the data on his computer and wait for him to find out the results. The quest will be completed after and the next Ryujin Industries Mission, Guilty Parties, will be unlocked.
